  11. It goes without saying that running around a lake bouncing off rocks isn't healthy for any hull, regardless of the material it's made of - (I said it anyway . . . .) It's important to choose the right boat for your particular fishing situation - whatever that may be. So just because a lake contains some hazards to navigation - once familiar with the water, a boater should be able to avoid them, especially with today's electronics. Perhaps you could contact a couple of local bass clubs in your area and see what a few of those humans have to say about it. A-Jay

  17. No doubt Rat-L-Traps are effective & classic baits and that chrome & blue back is good almost anywhere, anytime. However my advice to you is, if you don't already have one, buy one 1/2 ounce Strike King Red Eye Shad in Sexy Shad color. Fish it when you feel a lipless bait will work and see how it goes. And don't forget to stop your retrieve intermittently and to let the bait fall (on a semi tight line) as this is where the bait Excels. The standard Rat-L-Trap falls like a stone, but the Red Eye Shad descends with a nice little shimmy that bass can not resists. Good Luck A-Jay
  18. Back in the day, the "Worst Fishing Conditions" were always times I had no business being out on the water. Once I figured out that my fishing shouldn't be a life threating evolution, my types of "Worst Fishing Conditions" were still challenging but a whole lot safer. I have trips when it's a challenging to get bit during conditions I'd expect it to be tough and during periods I don't, that's fishing. But at this point, I'm glad to be out there. So honestly my worst fishing conditions, are that days I can't get out. A-Jay

  21. True - and as a side note to this, the "Flu Shot" is always a strain of whatever was the prevalent virus the season before. Can't predict year to year what is going to be. Additionally, this flu virus is a living thing that seems to be evolving and adapting year to year, making itself more resistant to traditional (symptom relieving) medicines. The whole event appears to be much more debilitating than in years past, the symptoms seem to last considerably longer, as well as being more easily transmitted from host to host. Good Times. A-Jay
  22. Bring the reel with you. You'll be able to mount it on a few rods and see what feels good to you. Good Luck finding your new bass stick A-Jay
