  1. I have to tell you that your response here sounds a lot like what you did not like about Tom Brady's. And you referred to him as Little b***h. A-Jay
  2. The Drop Shot is one of the most effective methods I know to catch bass, especially Smallmouth bass. Not necessarily always the biggest bass in a system but sometimes the fatties go Koo-Koo for Coco Puffs over the right bait in the right place at the right time. The method lends itself to almost any depth, clarity & fishing situation. Read more about it and then try it yourself. You'll be glad you did. A-Jay

Better soak that whole mess in Megastrike - just to be safe. A-Jay
  4. Nice one ~ Congrats You're one cold water bass catching dude . . . A-Jay
  5. An excellent bait for steep Bluff and any time you want to fish a drop bait the Terminator Twin Spin Spinnerbait is a solid choice. A craw or a grub make a nice trailer. It's not a bait a lot of anglers reach for - that doesn't mean it doesn't work and it's pretty easy to fish. A-Jay
  6. One of the most wonderful aspects about being a sports fan is we all great to "enjoy" the various aspects of which ever sport we're following any way we choose. And the discussions & debates that come out of these perspectives are another part of sports that so many of us really look forward to. Hopefully we can respect each other's opinions; but disagreement is what makes this part of it work, so it has to be there. As a fairly emotional fan, I feel like I "live & die" with the wins & loss of the teams I follow - so many of us to. And that's another one of those deals that makes it fun - sort of . . . . . . I hope you're still having fun. A-Jay
  7. I've watched them all and I'm a fan of the format. It's always interesting to see which competitor will come out on top ~ the angler who get onto a "numbers or keeper" bite or the angler who might get into some larger fish. I think the Numbers side has had the edge so far. A-Jay
  8. Very Sad & Sorry to hear about the Unfortunate and Untimely loss of Spot. A-Jay
  9. As close as I can come I guess. A-Jay
  10. I don't fish rivers but these work for me. A-Jay
  11. In that instance, I'm pretty sure you're allowed to shoot back ~ A-Jay
  12. I wave around a 7wt St Croix Bank Robber - I like it a lot. A-Jay
  13. Yea - but not to worry. Those Vince Lombardi Trophies are all fairly water resistant. A-Jay
  14. That was a BRUTAL GAME ~ I have No Voice left from yelling at the darn Big Screen . . . . . Obviously, I have problems . . . . . . But the Pats are playing next week, so Life Is good (and cold) A-Jay
  15. OK ~ so I'll admit I didn't believe . . . . But I'm glad they won
  16. OK - I'm in off the ledge - for now . . . .
  17. And I'm a Fan. A-Jay
  18. I've had success with the following ~ both as a stand alone bait & as trailers: Berkley Powerbait Hollow Belly Swimbait 4 & 5 inch Berkley Powerbait Flatback Shad Swimbait 5 inch Berkley Havoc Bobby Lane's Grass Pig 5 inch Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper 3.5 & 5 inch Strike King KVD Perfect Plastic Swim'n Caffeine Shad 5 inch Zoom Swimmin Super Fluke 5 inch Out of this list, I use the grass pig the most. 19. I thoroughly enjoy reading everyone's thoughts on this subject. Part of what makes it so interesting for me is how each angler views the matter. The thought process & the approach as well as where each angler believes the priorities lie are all different ways of putting the puzzle together. The reality may be that once that puzzle is finished and the photo's are posted, only the bass knows for sure how it happened. The rest of us are just guessing. But that's the fun part. A-Jay
  20. A Texas rigged 10 inch Berkley Power Worm in Black is one of my most productive daytime mid-summer deep weedline producers of above average bass. And I'm always surprised just how many Brown bass will gobble that bait right up. A-Jay
  21. Nice ~ Congrats on the Heat Wave. We're hoping to warm up to that soon as well . . . . . A-Jay
  22. I use Green Pumpkin a whole lot. Works for me in a variety of situations and water color / clarities. If the water is a little stained or has color, dipping the claws in chartreuse seems to help. A-Jay
  23. Winter time bass catching success doesn't always require finesse ~ But it almost always requires - a Slow Motion presentation. A-Jay
  24. Tough to beat a LC Pointer. A-Jay
