I watched some of the game and for whatever the reason, Rogers and that offense played as poorly as I've seen them this season. The QB miss fired on 25 of 42 passing attempts, connecting on only 17 - very un-Packer like. A-Jay

Appears that perhaps one hopeful applicant came up 1 point short on the 3 point turn . . . . A-Jay

I hoping for a real Super line ~ One that Actually Combines the strength & no-stretch properties of Braid, with the Cast ability & Handling of Mono along with the density, invisibility & abrasion resistant of Fluorocarbon into a single spool of reasonably affordable fishing line. We share the duties with the guide - unless we're throwing treble hook baits then our guide insists on handling those - and I kind of prefer that. Also I wear "Sun Gloves" - which help quite a bit but they do need to be washed out in the sink back at the lodge each night to remove the Stank. A-Jay

This one is wide open to debate. When it's all said it done, probably comes down to personal preference. Proponents of both are able to site pros & con for and against each. For me the pro's for a revolver center around reliability but even that is subject to discussion. Finally. if the need arises, a wheel gun can be fired repeatedly from a coat pocket, though kind a tough on the coat. A-Jay

A DQ is a DQ doesn't really matter what the violation is. But I'd like to know how what bait they were fishing came to light. Did they simply announce it or did a fellow competitor see them fishing it and inform tournament officials ? A-Jay

The vast majority of my home waters are loaded with pike. Pike that strike soft baits like the ones mentioned, when not using some kind of wire, will bite me off more than half the time. Toothy Critter as J mentioned works very well and does not reduce strikes. American Fishing Wire makes Surfstrand Micro Supreme Wire which is also a very good & tie able product but it's a little $$$. I use them both whenever I don't feel like losing baits because if I don't, I will. A-Jay

The only experience I have with casting reels in that price range came over this summer / fall when I had a chance to fish the Pinnacle Producer LTE reel.
