  4. The only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon "quickie " with their 8-year-old son in the apartment was to send him out on the balcony with a Popsicle and tell him to report on all the neighborhood activities... - "There's a car being towed from the parking lot," he shouted. He began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation: - "An ambulance just drove by!" - "Looks like the Andersons have company," he called out. - "Matt's riding a new bike!" - "Looks like the Sanders are moving!" - "Jason is on his skate board!" After a few moments he announced... - "The Coopers are having sex!" Startled, his mother and dad shot up in bed. Dad cautiously called out..."How do you know they're having sex?" - " Jimmy Cooper is standing on his balcony with a Popsicle." A-Jay

  9. Nice work right there ~ Congrats. It's always kind of funny to me to see catfish hitting a moving bait, especially the bladed jig. Doesn't happen much up here. I'd bet the first few seconds of the fight there is that expectation of a "Good One". And was that a Pit Boss trailer I saw there ? I've hung a few different plastics on those baits but have not tried that one - certainly looks like it works. A-Jay
  10. I'm good with that - Besides - I'll be straight-arm posing with huge Brown Trout ! Good Times A-Jay
  11. Oh Man ~ What's up with THAT ? You know what it's like . . . . . . .. A-Jay
  12. Kent, Look very closely at that picture and I'm betting your interest level will drop dramatically A-Jay
  13. I switched to the Accu-Cull Scale last year and added a Boga grip, but this works for me. A-Jay
  14. I have never fished a 4x treble on any crankbait, never needed to. Putting that hook on a 1/4 ounce bait - probably will subdue the baits action a bit and may even sink it. Additionally, to actually set those hooks you may need to pump up your line to something in the Barracuda class . . . . . . Just try the KVD trebles - you'll be glad you did. A-Jay
  15. Hello and Welcome to BR ~ A-Jay
  16. 4X - is a very stout hook and not routinely used on bass crank baits. It's usually reserved for use when targeting larger fresh & salt water game fish. The Mustad KVD Elite treble is 1x strong and 2x short shank making it a perfect aftermarket replacement treble for most any hard bait. I think size #4 in this hook will do the job well. A-Jay
  17. Thank you very much for the invite J - but I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the "wander ditch" term. You have peaked my interest however . . . . A-Jay
  18. CRS ~ Strikes again. A-Jay
  19. The Square bill has been a solid producer for me all season. Started catching my first trip of the season with the water temps in the high 40's and it's still taking bass here in Oct. The 6th Sense Crush Flat X75 in Bluegill does most of the damage. A-Jay
  20. Clearly Dwight's impressive results speak for themselves. And as soon as this Rain & Wind subsides - I'll be making a B~Line directly to your location hoping to assist you in your efforts to Improve that average. A-Jay
  21. The Sweet, Sweet sound of my line coming tight on a most Solid Jig Hook set . . . . A-Jay
  22. Average bass (both Green & Brown is probably a pound maybe a pound and a half. For all you studs with a 3 pound average, you're missing you're calling. Yea, but you're fishing those mutant Lake Erie bass & they have a Completely Freaky Large Gobie Fed Frame. That's not fair A-Jay
  23. I am well aware that this is a common practice and on various occasions I am guilty of it myself. I prefer to lay low so that's why I travel incognito - A-Jay
  24. Nice Bass ~ ! PB's are Always a Blast Congrats btw - Love that Hat . . . .Go B's A-Jay
