  1. Nicely Done. And if you cooked up a little of each of those together it'd make a heck of a Stew ! A-Jay

  3. I hear ya ~ But you know what it's like. Some guys get a scared in the blackness. A-Jay
  4. Yea - Not sure if they actually canceled them here or not. Doesn't really matter though because they (fireworks) are 'legal' here and the regional fireworks store is right up the road from us. Additionally the gun shot factor has been way up this year as it is. Either way a couple of our dogs really dislike all of that. #jumpsinmylap A-Jay
  5. I have NOT used this product but it seems to have decent reviews. https://www.amazon.com/MaryKate-Liquid-Rollers-Trailer-Lubricant/dp/B00144EZJ8/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Bunk%2BBoard%2BLubricant&qid=1592022494&sr=8-1&th=1&psc=1 A-Jay
  6. Seems there are more & more folks getting out and about on our nations lakes, rivers, ponds & reservoirs lately. There are certainly more threads discussing the matter for sure. I am seeing it some myself, however from what I've been reading here, it's pretty bad in many places. Anyway, it got me thinking about fishing at night. In places where it's safe and legal, fishing at night may be a way to reclaim most, if not all of the solitude, we've come to love while being at our favorite fishing hole, while at the same time catching some freak panda's in the process. Night bassing may not be for everybody, but if you're not afraid of things that go bump in the night, I'd urge you to give it a try. The following thread was initially penned a few years ago but contains some useful info for the first time night bass angler. Hope this helps. Stay Safe. A-Jay

  11. Congrats to J Lee. After what happened yesterday, he had a perfect excuse to fall flat today. Didn't happen. This young man has Grit and he proved it Again today. Grabbed all the cash and total redemption. Well Done. A-Jay
  12. I did it on my first trip to Mexico for a while. The guide wanted to beat me up. I stopped, he was big. A-Jay
  13. Interesting topic ~ So 'past experience' - we all have it. Some good, some bad. Anyone have any 'future experience' ? Me either. Years on the water teaches us many things. I rely on it; Heavily. Flip side - I used to be the guy who, once I got on a 'bite', would constantly switch baits & presentations, looking to find, 'what else would work'. Did it for a few years - pretty certain That Move cost me many fish and with out much, if any, up side. I Do Not participate in that Tom Foolery any longer. I get on a bite - and I will Wear It Out ! That's my story and I'm Sticking to it. A-Jay
  14. Mr. J. Lee is trying to pull away and win it ALL ! And I mean every bit of it. Fun to watch A-Jay
  15. Agreed ~ Just wish he'd start having fun. I can understand some frustration but the sun's out, He's on the right ones and he's catching bass. Smile one time. A-Jay

  17. 124 Days and a Wake Up ~ A-Jay
  18. Score tracker is gonna Blow Up ! #overload A-Jay
  19. That THREE POUND MINIMUM weight on Championship Day tomorrow is going to change the game quite a bit. Unless the giants are chewing all day, 3 or 4 of the right bites could win it all ! Going to be interesting A-Jay Mr Neal with a 8-15 ! J Lee out 50 G's Bummer for Lee - Good for Neal A-Jay
  20. However, once much of the sand has pass through the hour glass, there comes a point where the value of time becomes incalculable. #appreciate A-Jay
  21. The names on the top 8 list are changing by the minute - Guys at the bottom racing to the top and anglers up at the top are falling and falling and falling . . . #gottakeepcatchingthem A-Jay
  22. Seriously eventful 2nd period today. Last stanza should be entertaining. A-Jay
  23. No Doubt ~ This is my preferred Modus operandi any time I can swing it. Love waking up with the lake and then leaving just before the circus comes to town. A-Jay
  24. I hope whatever happens - you Sir are Happy & Healthy. But we should save this one because I'm willing to bet if we add up all your fishing days from the last 5 years and then the 5 years after you 'retire', it will be very close to the same. Quality over Quantity could be the way to go. A-Jay
  25. I hear that - My day before a trip 'preps' are definitely part of the process and something I also thoroughly enjoy. Besides, thorough preparation almost always enhances performance. My hard water season teaches the importance of patience & pacing myself. Also makes every trip on the water seem extra special. So quality over quantity. I share videos of many of my trips, but not all of them. The ones I don't post are often some of my favorite, as they are the ones that are just for me. A-Jay
