  4. If you're asking about the Lew's Fritts Perfect Crank Speed Stick Cast Rod, I do not own any nor have I fish one. Accordingly, I can't say one way or the other. As noted above, handle length likes or dislikes are fairly user specific. They are listed by Lew's as between 14" - 16.5" (depending on blank length) throughout the line. If those numbers fall within your own sweet spot for handle length, then you might be good. If not, guess you'll be looking else where. Personally, I am a two handed caster. So the only time I like a shorter handle, is when I need to 'work a bait' with some type of wrist action. A-Jay
  5. Wow ~ That would get my attention. Glad no one was hurt. Thank You for sharing that. A-Jay

  9. I usually fish all brown bass locally so I do not use them here. However, the 5 & 6 inch baits have been very good for me on big green bass south of the border. Need to fish them low & slow - bait will not run true at speed. They have an unusual 'action' - one that may or may not look 'natural', but we HAMMER bog fish with these baits. Finally Mend-It glue repairs most tears that occur so baits can be used many times over. Good Luck A-Jay

  11. It's your life - the only one you get - live it the way you want. It goes by fast and tomorrow isn't guaranteed to any of us. Going forward - the more times you end up saying "I should have," "I could have" or "I would have" - those are missed opportunities you may not get another shot at. Do it your way and own it. Finally, instead of focusing on the number as your age, perhaps instead think of it as 'levels'. Level 30 sounds way cooler . . . . Have fun. A-Jay #borninfiftynine

  13. Clearly. I was an Old Town angler only for over a decade myself. Still hauled too much gear. A-Jay
  14. The "Productive" selections offered represent - let's just call it "a portion" of the baits tucked away in the Pro-V Bass each trip. How much of a portion, I am not at liberty to say . . . . A-Jay
  15. While there's always a few 'special' colors and or patterns in my crankbaits that seem better in just one or two of the northern MI bodies of water I frequent, the vast majority of my most effective baits, lean toward natural stuff that's based off perch, panfish & crayfish colors. A-Jay
  16. Hooked Up ! A-Jay
