  1. Agreed ~ and Yes, the top 4 baits are. 6th sense baits have accounted for many nice fish for me the past several years. A-Jay
  2. No doubt, but as long as I keep reminding myself that soon it should get a little warmer, and the ice & snow will eventually all melt away. That's when the we reap the rewards . . . A-Jay #cabinfeverisstrong
  3. I'm just as surprised as you are ~ Who knew being 1,100 miles north of south GA could make it so cold. ? A-Jay
  4. It's February. A-Jay
  5. It never ends ~ btw, it's been a while since I haven't needed to upgrade ANYTHING on a bait. #refreshing A-Jay
  6. In my hand ~ The 70's feels heavier than the suspending 80's ~ A-Jay
  7. Well, if I won one of these - there would be no doubt it was ALL Luck. But I think these Pro's "make" quite a bit of it themselves by putting themselves in position succeed. A-Jay
  8. Path to Bass Pro Tour tournament success: Locate score-able feeding bass - check. Stay with them and keep catching them as long as they keep biting - check. Win - check. Seems like he did what every angler was attempting to do this and every other derby. Doesn't Luck Always play some role ? A-Jay

  10. Congrats to Jacob Wheeler ~ Paced himself but in the end, He ran away and hid. Sure was fun to watch ! And I really appreciate that he was generous enough to allow us to share his face time with his family. Very Cool A-Jay
  11. Mr Wheeler is making a play to put this derby out of reach for the rest of the field. With just over an hour left, may be time to order the pizza ! A-Jay Is this really happening ? Wow ! A-Jay
  12. OK ~ AA is only 46 lbs back 7 six pounders and he'll be right back in it. A-Jay
  13. Mr Wheeler is putting on a clinic ~ He's targeting brush piles with a with spinnerbait. #dingrepeatedly A-Jay
  14. "Most of the serious problems" are only a problems for humans - not the planet. There's a decent chance that 'Humans' have an exaggerated opinion as to their 'importance' to the entire planet's well being. Mother earth will tolerate whatever's going on for some time, and then shake us off and snuff us out like the bugs we are. And there's nothing we can do about. Either way - I hope to enjoy my ever so brief stay. #weareinsignificant A-Jay
  15. PB Green Bass choked a 3/4 oz SK Red Eye Shad in Sexy Shad at sunset ~ PB Brown Bass hammered 3/4 oz Biovex Stangun spinnerbait with a SK Blade Minnow Trailer ~ A-Jay
  16. Me too ~ But I really only want to use just the starboard side. Leaves the port side clear so that I don't have to land fish over my gear. A-Jay
  17. Does this help ~ ? For Three treble baits I go around the front & middle and end at the back A-Jay
  18. Can't say for sure ~ Perhaps post a picture ? I will say that I always 'wrap' the bands around both trebles a couple of three times. Just enough to keep them secured & not flopping all over. If that doesn't do it let me know And I'll post a few close up pics here of what I'm referring to. btw - 3 treble baits like jerkbaits & top water plugs require a little creativity. Guess I'll post a few pics anyway - Give me a few - brb . . . A-Jay
  19. Thanks - Not to be a hi-jacker but I never got the length & girth of that fish. Got a weight & released her. As for the prints - they are all done by Kevin Washburn. You can find him on FB @TheAntzlProject He does world class work. A-Jay
  20. Well thank goodness it's not a skin mount A-Jay
  21. This is exactly what I go with. Digital prints on canvas - A-Jay
  22. "Rigged Eels" and Bucktails were always a staple during my striped bass addiction. I fished almost exclusively at night, although this tank came at sunrise. A-Jay
  23. I have a couple of decades of many different types of inshore & offshore saltwater angling myself. Quite familiar with the the use of crimps on wire & big mono as well as the haywire twist. The AFW product is different in that it is knot-able. I use a uni-to-uni to the mainline. Also know, this 20 lb AFW is what I use when 'bass' fishing to keep Pike & Musky from biting me off. Would need to go with a heavier version in order to effectively target bigger fish. A-Jay
  24. Nice Musky ~ I use this from AFW - Works well. A-Jay
  25. What's work ? ? A-Jay
