  1. No Panic Box for me either. I will say that I spend a good bit of time & effort ensuring I have whatever I believe I'll need and perhaps might need, with me every trip out. If there is ever a sudden feeling of worry or fright to where I cannot think or behave calmly or reasonably, it is almost always because I realize I left 'something' at home. Then, there could be some panic - after all the cursing I mean. A-Jay
  2. Sounds Killer. We'll be there a little to soon to cross paths again. Unless we hide in the tackle shop . . . ? A-Jay
  3. I will offer two ~ First is deep cranking - really deep cranking. Long casts with beefy hard pulling baits; requires a lot of winding. It's work. Commitment & dedication are tested. The reward can be more than worth it. Second, is Big swimbaits - because the bites are so few & far between that even the most committed angler often needs to put in quite a bit of time before coming close to putting it all together. Personal skill level with both presentations = neophyte. But I'm working on it. A-Jay
  4. Top Notch ~ ! Congrats A-Jay
  5. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  6. I understand and sympathize with your mindset here. I think we all just want to believe we are being treated fairly. But what's the 'value' in the stress, worry, and the challenge of doing what you're attempting to do right now worth ? Personally, I'm letting the human with the training & years of experience absorb all of that BS. I don't want it. Clearly, there's a possibility that it might be $$$ to repair - but I would want it done once, done right and be done with, rather than chasing my tail all over the globe trying to diagnose & repair something I have less knowledge & experience doing than is truly needed to accomplish it successfully. Seems it's been going on long enough to warrant the attention of a professional. A-Jay
  7. Kind of hard to tell but I think that crappie may have his eyes. A-Jay
  8. I recently sold a 2016 200HP Opti with 120 hours on it. Although a newer motor, it started fine in the cold, and I'm talking icebergs at the dock. Can't assist with the sensor info sorry. Good Luck though. A-Jay
  9. They weren't exactly 'extra' blades. More along the lines of 'a sacrifice'. Meaning, I chopped up perfectly good spinners to get them. They were on sale at a little local sporting goods store. That's when it hit me - "Hey, they look sort of like that long blade". A-Jay
  10. I made my own version. Haven't fished it yet. Soon though. A-Jay
  11. Great Pic - Evil Knievel and his little brother will be hunting down your boat & truck keys in no time. A-Jay
  12. There ya go - A-Jay
  13. That's my 'sneaky' purchase place. Scored all kinds of 'hard to find' gear there over the years. A-Jay
  14. They just jacked up the $$ so it ends up being no bargain. A-Jay
  15. What do I prefer? Well, if you're getting the rod for me, I like St Croix Xtreme-Skin Handles. Otherwise, get what you like. A-Jay
  16. Welcome back ~ Seems you did OK Tim. That is one of if not the Prettiest Pike I've ever seen ~ What Beast ! Congrats A-Jay
  17. DUDE ! You have open water ??? GO FISHING --- NOW ! ! ! ! You do not need or even want warmer water - the Giants are sitting there waiting for you. You might have even missed it ! Tie on a jerkbait and get after it . . . Maybe it's just me . . .Sorry. But really - go fishing. A-Jay
  18. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Perhaps check to see what your charger is throwing out. Check each bank. Tough to determine from my spot here in the cheap seats, but that Guest unit might be toast. Good Luck. A-Jay
  19. OK ~ Thanks Perhaps I'll do a quick review; but only if they do indeed stay attached. Will not be posting up any bashing videos. Either way, I'll let you know. A-Jay
  20. Me too. I think it's a right of passage. A-Jay
  21. I am O for 3 on the clip on cull tags so far. All have failed miserably; falling off or getting torn off by spirited brown bass. Going to give the newest (updated design) from T-H Marine a shot at it. We'll See. A-Jay
  22. I would not argue with that logic. By the same token, I could see a distraught basshead firing up the blow torch effectively scorching the blank unnecessarily as well. A-Jay
  23. Sweet ~ Then my work is done here. There is very little that I can add to what Mr. Cavailiare puts out there. I suppose the exception to that is that I'm close to 20 years ahead of him on this road. So while he hasn't yet experienced training into his 50's (and in my case soon to be 60's), I have and am. It isn't pretty . . . Stay the course my friend and remembering that it's a marathon & not a sprint, can be very beneficial. A-Jay
  24. Thank You Sir. A-Jay
