So that’s why the outboard wasn’t working...
What does "not working" mean exactly ? Won't start ? Starts but won't stay running ? Starts but runs rough ? Runs but will not produce full power ? Runs but smokes like a chimney ? Starts & runs but runs cold - meaning it will not warm up to safe operating temp ? Starts & runs but plays music - specifically the theme from The Jeffersons ? My guess is either Runs but overheats and / or starts but doesn't produce cooling water (no PP) Because your Impeller looks like it might be a little toasted. A-Jay

Fishing Shirts
HUK, Columbia, Simms, and Cabelas all make quality sun blocking shirts. From pull over quarter zip, to sun hoodies and even the button up with regular collar 'guide shirts' I have & wearing them all at some point in a season. Sun gloves & some type of head/neck/face covering (Buff type deal) is important to me as well. Happy Shopping. A-Jay

New Sufix Advanced Mono (Hyper Copoly)
As the price of fishing line (and everything else) goes up, mono has remained unchanged thus relatively inexpensive. This looks like a proven way to change that and drive up the price. Few brands could get away with simply bumping up the asking price for an unchanged product without / unless they were offering something more. So let's mess with it a little, re-name it, re-package it, and spend some money on advertising. History indicates we should do well. And if we do it right, we can set a new higher price standard for what has traditionally been one of the least expensive but most needed items in the sport. While I'm a fan of a few of Sufix's products, and they are not even close to being alone with this mind set, I'm not seeing it. I will say however that Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo Nylon Line is pretty $$ when compared to most all mono line - but I use & like it quite a bit. Don't use mono a ton (except for backing) but when I do - I'm spooling this. A-Jay

signs of fall
I'm already starting to see the geese flying away - My Alaskan Malamutes have stopped blowing their under coats - which is a sure sign that the air temps will start to dip And most importantly . . . . These things are starting to show up with some regularity. A-Jay

Truck Accessories
A.R.E. Z Series Cap Borla Exhaust Bed Rug WeatherTech Floor liners Front & Back But the best 'investment' by far - is the Rock Tamer mud flap system. Really works well to keep the boat from getting pulverized with road debris. Of course the Lund is a pretty nice "accessory". A-Jay

everythingthatswims (Nolan Minor) in the Championship
Hello and Welcome to Bass Resources Todd. Nolan has quite a following by the BR membership. I'm betting you can tell by the responses here how we feel about him as an angler but more importantly as a young man. Although, like many here, I was fortunate enough to catch every second of that most excellent performance. But I'd watch it again. Thank you for the link. A-Jay

Light and very dark SM
Introduced myself to a few of those very black or super dark colored Smallies over the years. Never seems to be a whole lot of rhyme or reason as to why as fish from the same local caught minutes before or later are closer to the traditional coloring & pattern. But after just a few minutes in my live well, which is basically a white/translucent colored tub, most every one of those "Old Blackies", turns back into looking like all the rest. So I've learned that any pictures or video of them need to happen right away if there's any chance to capture it. A-Jay

Black sun gear (shirts)
I have a few of the HUK Elements tops. The one pictured below is what they call Blacktip Despite being vented & mostly breathable, in direct sunlight - They Are Hot. Good for a cool Michigan morning or evening adventures. But summer mid-day, not so much. A-Jay
