  2. Fantastic ~ but you asked for 'any thoughts'. So that's what you got. A-Jay
  3. I don't fish 5 inch tubes with an internal weight so can't help you there. However Bite Me Tackle, makes a quality product that includes an assortment of different heads that work well with 3.5 and 4 inch tubes. A-Jay
  4. Biovex and Megastrike And the results speak for themselves. A-Jay

  6. Finished off today's back workout with a one arm high cable row. I like this one . . . . A-Jay
  7. Nice Rig ~ And funny you mentioned silver. I'm Very Close to pulling the trigger on the latest Quick Silver version of the black truck I'm currently running. Love the Black (it's my 4th one) but seems I'm wasting way too much time keeping clean. Should be fishing & time's a wasting . . . A-Jay

  9. This is our Super Teddy. Born in parts unknown, Super Teddy rocketed into our lives six years ago when he was just a wee pup. As he reached maturity, we learned he has super paw abilities which uses selflessly to help others. Protecting us from everything evil, he’s ever vigilant to eliminate petty rodents, alert us to unwanted guests, and even help us unfold any & all clean laundry. No doubt it’s Super Teddy that has us feeling safe and sleeping soundly each night. Thank you my friend. A-Jay

All the fish I get are unfortunately lactose intolerant. But they do seem to enjoy being soaked in Hot Fat. A-Jay

  18. I check my string when the need arises. Much of it depends where & when I might be fishing as well. Couple of places I venture to demand it. A-Jay
  19. There's a decent chance that the reason you posted this "Would you buy this boat?" thread, is you're hoping for the advice from members with some experience in this matter. Well, you got some great advice from experienced men. Might not be what 'you were hoping for' but there it is. I'll agree with the above - don't buy it. The 'chances' of having a safe dependable craft to take you & your family out on the water in are reduced quite a bit here - and I think you know that. Additionally - How long you've been looking for a boat does not make the transom crack as less severe. The price point you've been looking for will show you what you'll get - perhaps raise that a bit. "He Said" is often a path directly to Disappointment & a Big Head Ache. Good Luck A-Jay
  20. Nice footage my friend - That view from the stern while you're running up to your spot is cool. Congrats A-Jay
  21. Perhaps consider a composite blank. This Quantum Tour KVD Crankin Rod uses a blank that blends E-Glass and carbon to deliver perfectly tuned parabolic glass actions, as well as, the added sensitivity and backbone that carbon provides. It's designed for a range of cranking applications whether you like to fish shallow running squarebills or deep diving 6XD’s. It has premium Alp’s LXN micro guides with aluminum oxide inserts also help facilitate greater casting distance and accuracy, while helping reduce rod weight, and the Fuji ACS reel seats furnish a comfortable base for your reel. It's easily my favorite cranking rod. (There's 5 of them in this pic ) Best of all the price in the link below is set to fit almost any budget - and free shipping) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01397SIJ0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AG5KH2U5TMIP3&psc=1 A-Jay

  23. My version of looking for bass in 'muddy' or colored water almost always is connected to the season, current weather trend & perhaps most importantly, the water temps. Water temps on the rise seem to produce more for me than the reverse, especially in a colored water deal. Certainly there's no hard & fast 'rules' but generally speaking, early season, with stable or even, better warming conditions, when I'm looking for bass in 'muddy' or colored water, I'm going shallow and dropping a jig very close or right into shallow wood.
