  2. No you've got it all wrong He's "Pulling" the mower not pushing it .. .. .. .. .. A-Jay
  3. No but it looks like they have a few options for your boat. That's why I posted the link. A-Jay
  4. The Motor & Talon covers are made by http://www.tuffskinz.net/ and are designed to be used for storage, travel and can & are left on during use. The boat cover is the one that comes as an accessory option with the new boat. Also for storage & travel . Boat's kept in a garage. I only use the cover for long time (winter) storage but definitely use it for travel. A-Jay
  5. Spring time is such a fun season in Michigan - Both weeks. A-Jay
  6. Haven't used that one - But these are getting the job done, well as long as they don't bounce on the cast .. .. .. .. A-Jay
  7. Is it ice out yet ~ A-Jay
  8. LOL ~ Swans always look a little bigger close up and they can definitely get pretty intense. But once you wade past the mostly useless beak, that long neck does make a fairly decent handle. A-Jay
  9. Yup ~ Or an obsessed & fairly psychotic LOON. A-Jay
  10. Unlike spinning gear where line twist is inherently part of the deal (design), twisted up line when using revolving spool tackle is almost always going to be caused by the bait spinning. Reduce or eliminate that action and the line twist is also usually reduced or eliminated; especially on casting gear. I drop shot a bunch, 95% is on spinning gear. Almost always braid main line & a leader. Tried but do not like the introduction of the small swivel into the deal so I do not do it. The main way for me to address line twist on a drop shot is to do whatever I can to not have the rig SPIN; either on the cast/sink or on the retrieve back to the boat. Rigging the bait totally straight is very important as is not using baits that want to spin anyway - like tubes. Even though they are great on a D/S, they will spin the heck out of your line regardless of how they are rigged, at least for me. So longer, straight baits seem to work and are for the most part thought of as the traditional D/S baits. But Craws works as do many other plastics - As long as they Do Not Spin. So that's my story and I'm stick'in to it. A-Jay
  11. Solid thread idea - just like the water here in northern MI. But that's par for the course for the first week in March. Still, every few days I take a ride out to at least one lake 'just to check'. We'll be in the 50's today with rain - that should help. A-Jay
  12. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  13. I don't see it catching on. There are already plenty of effective bait options out there an angler can use to catch bass in the situations that this idea is trying to solve. A-Jay
  14. Forget the Sustain - Go for the 2016 Stradic CI4+ .. .. .. .. I just did. A-Jay

  16. U-40 Cork Seal is a good product. I have been using it for years. Every cork handled rod I own ( going back 10 years) has a coating. Still have many of them and I've not experienced cork failure on any stick. It's a one time (when it's new) application for me. Darkens the cork ever so slightly but does seem to increase the corks longevity. This product will not over come mishandling but when combined with reasonable rod care, it's a nice addition. A-Jay
  17. That's Pretty Cool. Those smiles say it all. A-Jay
