An introduction and a question!
Hello Ethan and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Congrats on catching & releasing your Personal Best Bass. There are a number of reputable Replica fish - producers. I sure you'll hear about at least one here. Along with those measurements, a quality photo of your catch could go a ong way to help the creator duplicate your memory. btw - love to see that pic myself Congrats again A-Jay

The Strike King Pro Model Series 4S Crankbait ~ comes with #6's. On that style of crankbait. I prefer to plus size the front hook up one to a #4 and use the same on the back. If I'm on larger bass (or they are really choking the bait) I'll plus size front & back. As for the KVD Jerkbaits - (solid bait btw) both the 2 hook & the 3 hook models, as well as the Deep version, come stock with #4's. I only use the larger 3 hook bait and I replace the stocks with the same size short shanks #4's. I have played around a little with the red version of that KVD treble - just to add a little color & mix it up - had mixed results - jury's still out there. A-Jay

Too Much Tackle
Despite my previous response here regard not parting with much, I Will Be selling some of my lesser utilized baits here (flea market) over this next hard water season. Mostly hard baits; from topwater to deep divers & just about everything in between. All quality stuff and as usual it will go cheap which means also means quickly. If you're interested watch for it . . . A-Jay

As a Huge fan of several of the SK hard bait - and especially the squarebills - How is it that I MISSED this one ? Thanks for sharing it. Very interesting - AND - after looking at Several other vendors - Dick's seems to be the only one offering (or even indicating) that the bait comes with Trokar Trebles. btw - I've not used that treble and am completely sold on the Mustad KVD short shank. Too Much Tackle
That's a tough one ~ and I may not be the best tackle hoarded - I mean angler to offer advice here. I've done it a few times and it's always stuff that I just don't use or have replaced with something else. But if you have any extra Senko's or Knock-off, if you send them to @Darren. I promise you they will get used. Good Luck liquidating. A-Jay

What is your favorite shallow running suspending jerkbait?
btw ~ if it comes with the VMC flash feather tail hook - I'd recommend changing that mess out. I usually for go the fluff but if you feel the need - the Mustad Triple Grip Feathered Treble Hook is a good option. A-Jay

Side imaging overrated
I'd really encourage you not to give up on SI ~ It's not The End All as far as imaging goes - but it's been a game changer for me. BUT there was a learning curve for me too. I've had the Si on the Lund for a few months now (via a Helix 10) - It's definitely helped me find cover which has directly resulted in fish I may have never found with out it. My guess is your unit is not tuned correctly - like a bad picture on an old TV - you'll get it right. And when you do - you'll see what it's capable of. A-Jay

What is your favorite shallow running suspending jerkbait?
Yea - No Don't know who or how anyone's getting a Sub-Walk down 4 feet but I'd say 2 feet is being Generous. There's no lip on the bait so there's No 'reeling it down". It sinks super slowly. I fish it on braid with a mono leader so it mostly suspends about a foot - it's good. Get one - the Moss Back Shiner is THE COLOR you want - a little hard to find but worth it in clear water. A-Jay

Guess The Weight Of This Bass
