I'm in SE mass as well and fish Watuppa/cook as well as most spots in RI.. I always have an open seat and will post up if anyone wants to join. My home pond is Milford pond in Swansea..

I will also be heading up in July/August for a week and bringing my boat. We will be staying in Laconia. (Paugus bay).. FYI they have put a speed limit on the lake at 40mph I think..!!!!! I believe this goes into effect on Jan 1st of this year (already in effect) so getting around will even take longer.. I'll be fishing Paugus bay as well as Meridith.. I only have a 18' tracker with a 50hp so I won't be able to go to wolfboro or alton bay to fish..

Paul.. I threw my Carrot stix overboard at cooks last month using braid.. it got wrapped up or something and zoom in the water.. it was gone at least i thought.. but magically the line floated.. I ended up having to pull all the line out of the reel and the knot held (I use some clear scotch tape) on the knot/bail. and luckily once the line came all the way I was able to winch it up from the bottom... So now My heavy gear has braid.. light has mono..

That is why I haven't been fishing there.. way to many weeds waiting for them to die out..

David Albernaz 28 Swansea, MA I just got back into regularly fishing this year and bought a big boat. I fish from shore almost every day at work. During the summer/weekend I get out as much as possible. I have a 12' Jon that I picked up this year and will be building over the winter. A 15' Mirror Craft V-hull that I use at smaller ponds and a 95' Tracker that I fish at larger ponds/lakes. I mainly fish SE Mass and also fish RI spots as I work in RI. I am hooked on the Swimbait craze and plan on throwing them at all times. I enjoy meeting new fishing people and have fished with multiple people on this board. Pick up tourneys and such. If anyone wants to get out i'm always willing to go and enjoy learning new tips/techniques. I'm still looking for a fish over 4lbs this year so if anyone wants to help me beat my PB please pm so I can get one before the end of the year. If anyone needs help with their boat ect I'm a very hands on person and enjoy tinkering. Here are some pics from this year.

I've been fishing at work without a sniff for two weeks now. They were hitting jigs/Jerkbaits but now nothing.. Not sure what is going on.

What is that first pic Paul?? I like it there.. It's still shady but otherwise worth it.. smallies make it worth the while as well.. I heard they are going to put a gate in and clean it up as well.

Went to the dam for a few hours looked promising with the wind.. no bites on anything.. Swimbaits/senko/minus 1.

Me catching that nice fish on the slammer got you hooked right..

Cook has a ton of Perch too.. I was there this summer and caught 30-40 pearch on anything from a spinnnerbait to jigs.. some were up to 2lbs..

Guy that was with me got a 3lber about 5 min after we got there.. went into a cove and got this one.. My first MS slammer fish. She was about 3lbs. After this no other bites the rest of the day.. was quite weird..

Russ I went out for 3 hours today at milford thinking the weeds had died. off. Not even a nibble.. Fish where shallow but spooky as all hell.. Throw even a worm and the would just scatter.. this was in 1 FOW...

Russ, We are not talking about ponds in Milford. There is a Milford Pond in Swansea.. If you ever want to check it out let me know.. 3 biggest fish of the year have come out of there.. Thinking of heading over there today... Throw some swimbaits for a big one..

Hey.. just seen this post.. Milford was good when it was drained.. I went to bad luck from shore but not in the boat... I prob have seen you there.. Let me know if you want to get out sometime.. I'll be at Cooks in FR on sat.. Not sure about Sunday yet.. And my biggest this year was from Milford as well.. TTYL.

Was going to fish the blackstone tourney but it got canceled. So I headed over with another guy bassinri (Anthiony) to Roger Williams park... Didn't know there was a Breast cancer walk today so they wouldn't let us in. We ended up at blackstone river anyway.. Was mighty windy and cold. I managed 2 fish... One on a stick bait around 3#'s.. and the other on my newly bought Black Bico with ugly otter.. Anthony got 2 fish as well. Here are the pics of the 3#er
