So I have a new (3 months) old Carrot Stix.. I noticed today that one of the eye guides is broken (only one side). I'm having no problem with the rod casting and such but I would like to fix it. Anyone know of an easy fix for this. (solder/replace) ect. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks David.

I'm totally in.. my buddy lives about 15min from there so I can crash there.. I have 2 boats so if someone needs one let me know.. Let me see if I can find a partner if not there is a open seat.. Any idea of a timeframe on this??

I have been fishing every day at work at lunch around 45 min at around 8:45am.. Get a least 1-2 fish a day.. Today got 3 one 1 1/2lber and 2 smaller 1lbers.. One on a Yellow bladed yellow skirt spinnerbait and the others on the old trusty Wave Worm Pumpkin color wackey rigged.. That wave worm has been killing it at the Work pond..

Last time I was at Nickerson they did allow dogs but not sure about fires.. I will be down at Scussett Beach campground this weekend. It is right at the end the canal. (striper fishing too) I'm planning on bringing the Bass Boat so If anyone wants to join me just let me know. Pinewood Lodge and Sandy Pond are in Plymouth MA Pinewood has a Pond on site. I think Sandy pond does too.. I'll get you the list tonight from my parents.

I'll ask my parents they are part of a camping club and go throughout RI/MA to stay.. I'll get you some names of places with Ponds/allow dogs..

I'll be down the Cape Friday/sat/sun and most likely will have my Bass boat.. I'll be staying at Scusett beach.. If anyone wants to join me let me know..

Boated there but not fished.. It's very deep like 60-70 feet about 50 feet out from the launch.. there are some real deep spots in other part of the lake. There are a few pad areas in the north and the south that look good.

We got a few.. I had 3 and my buddy had 1 Small ones just about 1 lb.. Next time I want to fish the big side..

I'll be heading over after work today.. Anyone been fishing here (Tin/Matt) Anything to look for or know what fish are hitting.. will report back tonight..

I didn't think there was any big ones until yesterday. I seen some huge carp a few weeks back. When I went out yesterday there was thousands of newly hatched fish.. I'm wondering if this bass was feeding or protecting. All the other fish out of here have been small way under 1lb.. The maintenance guy in the building said someone got a 9lber from the stream that runs up to the other (3 ponds) across Kilvert st.. I would like to put a boat in the upper pond that is on the Airport Connector.. doesn't look like that is fished at all.

Scale reads 3lb 4oz but was actually 3lb 5oz

Fished during lunch today at work. Was fishing with a watermelon wave worm wacky rigged.. Got one small dink then hit another nice fish a few min later.. Almost lost him in the weeds good thing I had the carot stick and some heavy line on it.. Got him in and ran to the car to get the scale. He came in at 3lbs 5oz my new PB... I didn't think this work pond had any decent fish I guess I was wrong.. I'll have some crappy cell phone pics up when I get home from work.. I'm still stoked and sweating from all that running around..

I guess there is no one in this area.. Looks like i'll be going to Lake Lanier or Stone Mountain for fishing.

Wacky rigged worm killed em at lunch today at work.. 5 fish in 30 min or so.. All were dinks but gave good fights.. 8:45am or so..

I got 2 small bass last night from shore around 7:30pm or so on a wacky rigged watermelon wave worm.. Lots of bites too. this was in an open area near lots of lillys..

I'll be visiting Family in Jefferson, GA next week (Sat-Fri) I've heard that there are some lakes/ponds in the area. Are there any good Bass ponds. I guess Lake Lanier is fairly close and is supposed to be very big. I won't have my boat with me so shore fishing only (unless someone invites me) Anyone have any info please let me know.. I wanna get some Southern Bass.. Thanks David.

That is what I said we went there last year and got nothing. Now he's talking about Breakheart pond.. I want to fish a quality place not these crappy places..

Where might one get these swimbaits.. I have plastic ones by storm and such but some of those look to be wood/plastic baits??

Looks like I'll be heading up Friday after work. I know the pond is trolling motor only but do you know if they don't even allow gas boats on the pond only using trolling motor.. I want to take the big boat but just not sure if it is banned. I know I have heard people say yes and some say no.. Should I just call the DEM and ask?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks David.
