  1. Good stuff guys! I want to try the drop shot this year, and I think I have alot more info on it now ! Thanks
  2. Thanks, I did see that in the Master Catalog. Don't know what the problem is, you would think they would get out asap. :'(
  3. I am getting upset looking in the mail and not finding it there! >. And the Bait Monkey is jumping all over the place!
  4. Well the Bass should be pre spawn or spawning at that time! I have fished the Rock many times and this time of year the bassin is great. I would try fishing Baby Paca craws, Fin. worms, french frys on a split shot or on a c-rig, lizards on a t-rig, Brush hog, fluke's and don't forget that drop shot. I fish the Rock every year ( I evan bought land on the lake ) and two years ago I was fishing the Baby Paca Craw in green pumpkin in about 15 ft. of water, I had maybe the biggest bass of my life on, but not for long. She still is in the lake. :'(
  5. Also take alook at the Netbait chunks. Bass Pro carrys them.
  6. Thanks Gman, Now I have a good start to pick from.
  7. These do look nice! Just takes awhile to down load the colors. But thanks for the heads up!
  8. You could use the 2/0 or 3/0 but I agree with Basin-fin. I would start out with the 2/0 for better action1
  9. I have made up my mind ( the bait monkey did help ) to buy some of these Goby baits. I just would like help in picking the better ones to go with! Fire away boys? :) :-? :
  10. I know what you want if the Steelers loose, you want to talk some SMACK! COOL I would too! ;D
  11. I would call the store first to see if they have what you want!
  12. I was looking in a recent BassMaster Magazine and in the Terminal Tackle Innovations, Buckeye has a new Goby Sled jig for Goby baits. It looks cool and I was thinking of other baits that I could use on it. I wanted to fish Goby Baits this year and I was noy sure how to rig them! This looks like my answer. Now does anyone know where I can buy them? :-?
  13. Nothing on my store ( Chicago ). I looked up your store and did see the line up for you. They should have it posted soon I hope! :'(
  14. I don't fish these Goby baits, am I missing out on them or not? I fish SE Wisconsin lakes and I know that they fish them, and do well on the Great Lakes. I fish alot of plastic's and I was thinking am I missing out adding these littile baits to my attack? And if so what how do fish them? I don't fish the Great Lakes, all inland lakes! :-? :-X
  15. I know that the Tungsten jig has a very good feel to them. Is that the reson you like these jigs? They look kind of funny. I did but one pack last year of the Spike but never used them!
  16. Yes, that is the size that I use too! Gander carrys them too. Try fishing them at night in the post spawn, and hold on to the rod. I was guiding last summer on a night trip and the guy did not have a good hold of the rod and I lost rod and reel! :'( it was worth about $ 200. But what the hey it happens. He did offer to pay for the rig. I told him to just forget it, he was alot of fun to fish with!
  17. Now that is some good info! Thanks
  18. I think in past years they had the flyer out by now! Not sure what is taking them! :'(
  19. I guide at night and the Jitterbug is my top, topwater bait! But I fish the BIG black Jitterbug. But I change all the hooks and I use VMC 5/0 hooks. When smallmouth come up and slap at it, they get hooked because the VMC's one if not the best hooks for this bait!
  20. Lets keep the vote going untill Sat night! 8-)
  21. Spoon, I sent you a PM with some info!
  22. Absolutely!!! Also, at night; over flats with weeds lets say 8 to 12 ft deep. A large and loud surface bait like a big Jitterbug or a wake bait will get you some heartstopping action! NOW, your talking, My heart is pumping fast when you wrote that!
