fish attractants or scents
Not so sure about that! Fish use sent more that you think! When in dark waters sent and sound are number one for the bass to home in-on.

Netbaits's New Baits for 09, WOW!
Netbait sent me samples of the new baits for 09! And I was blown away,I want to go fish but I have that hard water problem! :'( 4 in. Swimbait=They look really good, with a bigger paddle tail. Chunker Munker= is a jig trailer, looks like a pork chunk. 4 in. tubes= nice colors. Big Bopper=51/2 in. worm has like a U- tail, a little fatter worm. Finesse worm=new color Kasumi Dynamite, looks like a pumkin worm with red, blue, green flake. Finesse worm=new color, table Rock, lite watermelon green on top and a purple perl on the bottom. COOL Baby Mad Paca= COOL Bait, looks like a baby brush hog but with the paca claws and U-tails, legs. Super twitch=is a soft jerk bait, like a fluke but better. 3 in. Twin tail=grub with little longer tails. NICE! will make a nice jig trailer. Mad Paca=51/2 in. like a brush hog with the paca claws, twin tails and legs. Tube= 5 in. tube. They have new colors in the tubes too. I am so impressed with the new line for 09! I can't wait for our tournaments!

Berkley® PowerBait® Chigger Craws
I like the Paca chunks as jig trailers, and not many claws come off for me. The Chigger Craw will last for a long time but, the Paca chunk has alot more action! The Paca and Baby last long enough for me,they catch a ton of bass.

Berkley® PowerBait® Chigger Craws
If you plan to fish them on a T-rig or shakey head, the regular (full size) NetBaits Paca Craws are great. If you plan to use them as a jig trailer, the Baby Paca Craw is the ticket. X100 times, the Netbait Paca and Baby Paca Craws are the best thing out there! And the the Paca chunks are great too! just my two cents worth! 8-)

The Paca chunks are a KILLER trailer! In fact try there Paca Craw and Baby Paca Craw on T-rig and HOLD on!

5 1/2' -6' worm rod for texas rig?
For me, all my worm and T- rig worm rods are 6'6" or 7'6"" and I have no problems! I guide at night and the longer rods do have a advantage! I fish deep water in the summer and I need that long rod for hook setting power and a longer rod is better for fighting the fish and having more control of the fish next to the boat! I do use a 6' rod only for fishing docks and skippin! Just my 2 cents worth!

Strike King, Sexy Shad Color Baits?
Just want to know if the sexy shad color is as good a color as Strike King says it is? I see that they have that color in the new Burner and the bottom dweller spinnerbaits. And they have it in there swimming jig. looks like a cool color. Just would like to know any of you like the sexy shad color?

You could go with a M action fast tip also.

Pegging sliding sinkers
I like these weights too but, with the Tru-Tungsten and the BPS stops go can ajust your weight on your line to wright up against the bait ( T Rig )or move it up and now you have a T- Rig with a long leader, leader without changing a thing! .

What Rod?
St. Croix is a fine company and the Avid is the best rod at its pricing point. I suggest the AVC68MXF for soft plastics and jigs, 3/8 oz or less. The rod handles more, but with trailer, this is its sweet spot. Thanks RW, I was was looking at th 7' MH F tip or the MF tip. But I will take a look at the AVC68MXF. I was thinking of like Fin. worms to small jigs and maybe some Senko's, and some swimming jigs. And the M action would be better for this. 8-)

SO new rod on the way need some help with reel and line
They are both good reels but, I would look at the Shimano Stradic, it is a bit more money but well worth it! And as for the President I would also look at there Supreme and the Supreme XT. They have them in the Bass Pro Catalog or look at there web site to view them. As for line P-Line Fluorocarbon or Trilene 100% Flou.

Pegging sliding sinkers
Try the Tru-Tungsten Smart Peg ( Bass Pro Shops Catalog p.330) or the BPS Sinker/Bobber Stops ( same page wright above the Tru-Tungsten). I tryed them last year and they work great, they will not harm your line and are so easy to put on, And if you don't want the rubber stop against the weight then just slide it up your line to where you want it, you have a C-rig without changing a thing. the Tru-Tungsten is$3.99 the BPS is$1.70 I like the Tru-Tungsten alot better!
