Would you rate this rod better than thr BPS Extreme?

Check out the sales at BPS! I would take a look at the St. Croix Mojo BPS Extreme KVD Signature Series American Rodsmiths Rods And I know that these are a bit out of your range but the Carrot Stix are real nice.

They are all good baits and I am not putting any of them down! But I like the Netbait Paca craw and the Baby Paca better. I have the Rage tails but, for me I go with the Netbaits.

I was thinking of putting it on a 7" MH or M rod like the KVD Sig. Series on sale at BPs. And I was thinking of small jigs and jigs like the Spot Remover.

This is a baitcaster it does not have a bail !

I have never fished with one but my Bud wants to sell his to me for $30 he never used it. Looks kinda nice, Has anyone of you fished this reel and what do you think of it? :-[ :-/

I know that there are better rods out there! But I see BPS has them on sale for $ 59. Just want to know if they are worth it to pick one up? I have a old Browing Trigger rod and I want to replace it. What does this KVD rod compare to? The old Browning is a Syntec if you know about this rod. It is pretty old!

Was there any line on sale? Yes, but it looks like most of it is mfrs. rebates-not BPS running the sale except for their house brand. Was the BPS or XPS Fluo. on sale? :-? If so what was it?

I think you answered your own question! I f you are fishing clear water I would stay away from the braid! And just go with the Fluo.

I would skip with a 5 1/2 ft. or 6 ft. rod so you are good there.

Outkast Tackle has some real nice ones.

What size of Braid do you uae on your C-rig? I use Sufix 30 lb., it is thin like, 8 lb. mano.! What pound are you fishing with? Maybe I need to up it a bit. :-?

I agree, if I had to fish only Fireline,I would give up on fishing and go take up watching paint dry ! ;D

You guys that have them on your baitcasters. I was thinking of buying some for my baitcasters but do you feel that they are a BIG plus? What are thr pro's or con's? Thanks :-?

I have been fishing the Sufix Braid as my main line and with a fluorocarbon leader. And I have done well,my feel is better,my hook setting is better.And I also use Tru-Tungsten weights. I fish clear water to off green color lakes. Do you think that I may be giving up bites this way and should go all Fluorocarbon ( Main line and leader )? Not sure if the Braid hurts me!
