  1. These are great jigs! One of my go to jigs if not my number one!
  2. I have never held these two rods but I think I have it down to these two! I will be at BPS this weekend to take a look at them and see! The rod that wins out will be fished for T-rig Brush hogs,Mad Paca's, ect. What advice would you have on these two rods? This rod would be a baitcaster rod teamed up with a Citica!
  3. For T-rig I fish a Mh fast tip and mybe a Mod. tip. If I were fishing a senko or no weight then I would go M action and mod. tip and maybe a fast tip. Remember not all rods are the same! One rod company may have a MH fast tip and another company may have that sme rod listed as M Mod. tip.
  4. MH, fast tip and if fishing slop and heavy weeds then MH to H action,X fast tip.
  5. actually yea i have to agree, and the spring classic is going to be happening here really soon, so plan to go I too agree, the seminars are great way to learn new things and the tank demo's are cool too. And your store may have some of the pro's to give seminars. At this time they have great sales, and a very good reel trade in program!
  6. Yes they are $$$$$$but worth it to me! It is all about the feel!
  7. All kidding aside the tip on this rod is not too stiff, I was thinking big worms for deep water or a C-rig being that it is a spinning rod! :-?
  8. you ever do any catfishing?[/quot Let me see if I have this wright! I get the cat next store and tie him to BIG hook and go fishing? ;D ;D ;D ;D
  9. My brother must have hit his head! He gave me a Fenwick HMG 7 'Spinning H action rod. I have so many rods now, not sure what to use it for! If it where you, what would you rig it for?
  10. Bingo! I don't think it is a big deal on the swinging of the fish! But putting them on the carpet to cull is wrong, That I have a problem with, and I don't care money or not.
  11. Not so fast! A swimming jig is more of a reaction bite! Color does matter but it it is not the number one factor. Color, size of the jig, speed of the jig and the trailer all come into play a important part of the swimming jig
  12. All these lines that the others have said are good lines but, give Gamma a good look. I have been useing this for the last two years and I love it!
  13. Bass Pro has them, some Gander stores has them and there are many online sites has them.
  14. NOT GOOD, what ever circuit they are fishing ( B A S S, FLW, BFL, ect ) should get on these pro's for doing this! It sends the wrong message to the young guys fishing tournaments and to everyone, that this is OK. These pro's are roll models let's fish like PRO"S!
  15. I have two Citica's and a Energy and they are both very good reels but, it I had to oick between the two. I would pick the Citica!
  16. I think I have it down to 3 rods. The KVD series rod, the Extreme, anf the Mojo rod. I am going to take a hard look at the Mojo next week at BPS. :
  17. To answer your question,Fluorocarbon has less stretch than mono or copolymer lines and is more sensitive and has better strength! And in my post I also said that I fish tournaments , so it is just not night fishing. I fish alot of clear waters and I do think Fluo. lines still make a differance at night! Unforutnately that is not necessarily true about FC stretching less than mono. Some FC lines can have more stretch than a comparable mono! Yikes! I don't think that this stretch affects too greatly FC's ability to transmit feedback to the angler. Now you went and opened up a can of worms! :-/
  18. Where can I get some? Can I order wright from Mann's?
  19. People that have fished the Rage Lizard, how do you compare to other brands? I love to fish lizards. But I have so many now, so do I need to invest in the Rage? :-?
  20. Today on One More Cast, he was fishing the Rage Lizard on a drop shot. He had the weight what looked like about 5 or 6 in. from the lizard with a mojo weight. looked cool!

  22. Man, They still make the Jelly Worm? My first bass I ever caught was on a worm called the Hook worm, and then I found the Jelly Worm and I fell in love with worm fishing! I fished the black, Greenpumpkin, blackgrape, My hat is off to a great worm!
  23. I am going to buy a bunch of Fluorocarbon line this year! I guide at night and Tournament fish. I have been fishing the Trilene 100 % and it was pretty good.Just would like to see your votes and input. Maybe I should change or fish more than one? :-?
