  1. I have been fish this setup for along time. And I have had very little problems, I fish alot of deep water and if I have a 3/4 to 1oz. weight, I just try to cast not as hard or a side arm cast.It does not slid very often!
  2. I use the bobber stops on a T-rig so that way I can peg my weight or not.And I put a bobber stop ahead of the weight and ten another behind the bead so now I can turn my T-rig into a C-rig by ajusting my bobber stops and the weight ! Cool stuff.
  3. If I am fishing the DS in deep water I go with braid and fluro leader. If I fish it in skinny water to 15 ft then I go all fluro! I think I get more feel wirh braid in deeper water!
  4. Senko.baby brush hog, brush hog,Netbait baby paca craw, robo worms. Oh almost forgot my go to big worm a Netbait C-Mac worm!
  5. I have fished a small crankbait on a C- rig in deep water off of weedlines and over rock piles.I started fishing the Rapala floating # 7 silver and black. And then I fished Wiggle warts, any small crank. It can be a killer!
  6. I will be back down there ( TR ) early Feb. to move some things into the new house! What is the fishing like down there now,I would think it has been slowwwwwwwwwwww?
  7. I think they have the last weigh in is at the Branson Landing. Is it first come first serve or do they charge a fee to get a front row seat?
  8. I would like to know if anyone has gone to one of the BIG boys tournaments on Table Rock to watch them fish or at the scales? I just bought a house on Table Rock and I thought it would be cool to watch them on the water out of my boat? And when they come to the scales do you have to pay to get a seat?
  9. My vote goes to Gamma. And you can still buy it at there web site, the last time that I looked! The Black family bought Gamma.
  10. Ron, I have a gift card for Gander MTN. and I was going to get it there and I work there so I get another 20% off. But thanks and I will keep that in mind.I think I will have to shop your online site!
  11. It all depends how deep you want to fish! Deep water I fish 1/2 and in skinny water 1/8 .You can fish it on spinning or casting. I use a Norman's speed clip as the lower split ring, this way I can change my weights fast and easy.
  12. What price were you selling them at?
  13. I was thinking of buying this but not sure it was worth $49 bucks? I have the old kind of balls with the cable and a marker, too much of a pain. Should I pull the trigger on this one?
  14. 1. You can fish it in any water because it moves alot of water, but it shines in clear water! 2.My pick would be the first rod setup! 3.Both 4.Both 5.You can buy a A-rig with 3 arms or 5 arms.I like the 5 arm it looks more like a school of baitfish! Just put the hooked baits on the bottom two arms and then the long center arm and the baits with no hooks at the top two arms.Just check your state laws about this, every state is different! And if this is going to be your go to rig good luck!!! It will plum wear you out after throwing it for along time! It shines in winter, spring and late fall but does not do well in summer!
  15. I did hear that the BB1 HZ is there new reel? I was thinking of picking one up.But I would like some input to this reel vs. other Lew's reels and just any other reel?
  16. Nice Bass, I think they still have rods to give away. My buddy and are in! Looking forward to it. This will be my first one!
  17. Just try it on some old ones. And see what you come up with! I like to play around with the JJ's when we have hard water! Back to the basement and see what I can come up with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Nothing wrong with them baits at all. But I like the Netbait lineup.Paca craws, the B-Bug for flippin ( just like a sweet beaver).
  19. That is a toad you are holding!!!!!!!
  20. Big Bass John, What is your big bass out of the Rock? I did get a SM of 6 lbs.5 oz.and my big LM out of TR is all most 6 lbs.
  21. Big Bass John, also I want to welcome you to this site! This is a good site for info and tips.
  22. Lasher, Just go on the web site and you can see all the rules ect. My buddy has fished them and you can get into the money with just alittle luck. At the time of the tournament you just have to watch the weights for the hour and see were your fish fits in! But once you take it out of the live well you have to bring it to the scales.
  23. Yes I agree on the cool setup. You can win money every hour. And there are some tanks in the Rock for sure.Last year a 7 lb.+ won the boat.
