I have a old baitcast reel and it is a EX500 , I think it is. Quantum. And the tension knob does not work! I can move the tension all the way tight and the bait still falls like I had no tension on at all. Is this something that I can fix or is it shot?

A drop shot would not be my first choice! A jig, swim jig, under spin, or any paddle tail swimbait, deep cranks like the Dredger! Chatterbait, Rat L trap! I would be throwing any of these before a drop shot in muddy water!

Yes they don’t carry High Sea’s!! I was up in Wisconsin for 10 days and hit 3 Wal-Mats and Branson store and Branson west with no luck! But the Wal- Mart on Bee Creek had it!

Well I am glad to report that I hit 5 or 6 Wal-Marts with no luck trying to find the High Sea’s! Then my last Wal-Mart and there it was!!!! I saved on shipping!

AllI know is stay away from PQ spinning reels they are junk! The PQ baitcaster is ok! Like the others have said about Cabela’s reels.

What about Lucas oil? $5.99 a bottle?

I fish the Mojo way more than the split shot. With the Mojo weight you can ajust the length in just a few seconds. It is a great rig to throw when the water is coo/ spring or after a front! A 3 season rig for me! You can fish ANy plastis on them ! I have evan fished floatig CD 7 on this rig!

I think a DT would get hung up more than a square bill around wood and rock!
