  3. Just what Glenn said! nice video by the way. This is the best system that I have used yet. And Ardent is the maker!
  4. I will second that!
  5. Remember you can swim any kind of jig it does not HAVE to be a swim jig head ( cone shape ). I fish the most is a 1/2 oz., and as a trailer I like paddle tails, grubs, lizards, baby brush hogs, ribbon tail worms! I fish a swim jig from spawn to late fall, shallow to deep water.
  6. Green and Gold = Packers
  7. Buckeye hit a home run with this one also! I like the flat sided jig and the bait keeper is great, bait will not slip on this one and a great jig for the Ned!

  13. Give them the Ned rig !
  14. For me the 5in.,after a frontal condition then a 4 in. In the summer when the deep water comes into play go big 6 in.!
  15. For Drop shot try,Zoom Fish Doctor,Cent.Meat head.I wacky a french fry worm, there is nothing you can't fish on a Drop Shot! As for colors in worms or creature baits you can't go wrong with black in clear or dark water, other colors that I go by are anything green,or brown. Some colors that are my go too's green pumpkin,GP with red flake, cotton candy, brown, purple or grape, plum! In a Brush Hog bait I like Junebug or GP/red,black grape,Remember let the fish tell you what they want! Many times I told the fish what color they where going to eat so that did not work most of the time! It can change day to day. But if you stay with most combo of colors ( green/browns ) you will be fine. It also has to do with color, action of the bait, size, speed of the bait.I guided for over 15 years and also what comes into play first is location, retrieve speed, depth, action, color. If it was easy it would not be fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just don't over think color too much, browns, greens or any combo of them.Shad colors for shad baits!!!!! dark water bright colors!
  16. Go Ned you can't fish it wrong!
  17. There plastic baits I will buy.But hard baits and reels, not so much!!!!! I would rather spend alittle more $$$$$$ and get a better product!
  18. JJ'Magic-Megastrike
  19. I tend to stay away from Bass Pro Brands! I have found them To not last as long and some of the the bp products are junk!
  20. Other than the line problems try down sizing your bait a bit. go to a 4 in. Zoom fish Doctor or a cent. t- they may be grabbing the tail?
  21. For me 1/2 oz. and then 3/8. 1/2 oz. for a bit deeper water and distance and I can slow down a bit with the 3/8.
  22. Any bait at one time or another will catch fish! But Gambler is a good bait company and I like there Bacon Rind baits alot ( not sure they make them anymore ).I never used this shad bait but i am sure it could catch fish!
  23. A Netbait Dirt Dog put on backwards to give them little paddle tails more room to work or wright onto the body for a slender look! Great colors too!
