  1. Put your foot in your mouth??? Someone has to lead this bunch so it might as well be you!
  2. Great rig on bed fish!
  3. Bass don't know a top end jig from a cheap ( $$$ ) jig as long as it looks real and acts like a crawfish, is all that counts!
  4. Just don't buy anymore! Just use super glue!
  5. Sorry to hear about your friend! That is always a hard thing to go through! God is My Fishing Partner Now!
  6. When bass are using bluff walls i like to fish them with cranks, swimbaits but the one I like the most is the jig! Bluff walls have ledge's and I walk the jig or swim the jig.And I love to fish the bluff ends when they get ready to move into the cove's!
  7. Look at this way-your mom would want you to have them!
  8. Go to a Gander MTN. or any sporting goods store that sells rods and ask them if they have any cardboard tubes. They get these cardboard tubes when they get a shippment of rods. I worked at Gander after I retired and people would come in and ask if we had any and we would give them for free. They just throw them out or keep a few for rod returns!
  9. Lets say you fished a orange craw would you get a bite, maybe. If you fished a green pumpkin craw you could have a better chance to get hit but, put a green pumpkin craw with some orange and you should have a much better chance! All lake can be different and water color comes into play as does bait that is in the lake. You could fish a black jig and not get a hit but go to a black and blue jig and ware them out! Like the other posts said also too. Just try it out but if it works don't try and fix it untill you have too.
  10. Big swimbaits,jigs,BIG worms,big live bait.
  11. They are great frogs but take a look at the Snag Proof Phat Frog. All 3 are wright up there!
  12. I like that idea! I will try that. I had been useing the small screw in bullet weights.
  13. Any paddle tail swimbait.
  14. That is good to hear. Bass Pro should take notes!
  15. Jitterbug in black and I mean the BIG jitterbug! Or a Spit -in-Image.
  16. I fish cider alot but at times they will want pole timber and not ciders but other times ceders. I fish swim jigs, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, drop shot, cranks, jerk bait early in the spring or late spawn. They love trees and even CIDERS!
  17. The Netbait chunks,Paca slim ( it is the new one out this year),baby Paca Craw, Zoom swimming chunk,Twin tail grubs like a Chompers,or the rear of a Ribbon tail worm works great too!
  18. I have also used these gloves. does a great job protecting your hands from the suns rays, and the nice thing they are cool and you don't know you even have them on! Worth every penny!
  19. A lot of good frogs out there!!! But one stands out for me and that is the Snag proof Phat frog, you can't sink it. It has a air tight chamber in the body. As for plastic frogs I like the Zoom Horny Toad,Netbait paca toad.
  20. crankbait or a swim jig, spinnerbait Depending where they are I may find them with these baits and then pick them apart with a jig!
  21. A big time old bass bait that still works! We all tend to forget the old ones that were big back in the day. They all still catch fish and sometimes better because the bass have not seen them for along time. As for trailers the pork was big and still is. But I like to take a ribbon worm's tail as a trailer,Zoom swimmin chunks.
  22. Any of the days from the 18 to the 22 as the later is better as the water warms and gets the fish moving.Winds are a bit lite but some wind is better than no wind for me.Depends on water color too!
