  1. I have fished it many times and do very well. But I like it more as a summer combo. I like ribbon tails( cut down some ) as a trailer. Killer!
  2. Not so sure about putting only 65 yds on a reel! To have to figure in brake offs and before you know it you are at the knot of the backing! I would do 100 yds on a reel.
  3. I too vote for the Zoom swimming fluke or the Missile shockwave. The shockwave has great tail action at slow speeds!
  4. Playing with your toys in the bath tub again???????
  5. Wecome this is a great site. A wake bait also has a bit different action than a buzz bait. It has a more side to side action and can be fished at a slower pace.
  6. You can use a hitchiker to put your bait on.Or you can use a jig head and cut off the hook! You can get hitchikers at Bass Pro And Tackle Warehouse.
  7. Well I too think it is the line too.use it on spinning gear and go to a line you trust on the baitcaster!
  8. What lb. test are you using ?
  9. Mr. Morris had to put the price of everything up to pay for his Top Of The Rock golf coarse!
  10. I like the Gamma line and I think you can get it at TW.
  11. What kind of action? A MH will work fine!
  12. What kind of action?
  13. Yes, and i would fish a Netbait Tiny Paca chunk or a Zoom swimming chunk!
  14. Fish a Strike King Bitsy Bug.
  15. That rod would work. Or a Ugly Stik, you don't need a high end rod for A-rigs ,it is a reaction bait. Some fish flippin sticks. I have a 7'6" H action with a fast tip and I do fine with that. That rod would work for me!
  16. I will tell you what, I will give you anyone of my baitcast reels ( and I have some nice reels ) for your BB1? That is how much I like Lew's reels!
  17. Frog fishing,C-rigging,T-rigs. To your last question yes. If I could do it all over again I would have nothing but Lew's on all my rods!!!!
  18. I agree! But i can see where Corn-on-the-rob is coming from!
  19. Back in the day when it was a good time and the crowds were bi! Bass Pro would treat all the vendors and the Pro Staff, seminars speakers to a great lunch with a chief cutting prime rib, them were the days when Mr.Morris took good care of the people that helped him sell product. One year i sat and ate lunch next to Jimmy Houston and we had a great time and that was the last time that they did lunch! Too Bad!
  20. Mr. Morris should read all the posts on here and maybe, just maybe a light would go off in his head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I have been going to the Spring Classic and doing seminars for my sponsor's for the last 20 years. And I can remember the vendors being there in there booths and you could talk to the reps and handle all the new stuff. And the crowds where elbow to elbow. Now it is like a ghost town. BPS priced the vendors out by charging big money for the space. And not all the stores had the same dates so more Pro's could come to more stores. Not smart marketing IMO!
