  1. If the water is cold SLOW DOWN! A good jerkbait and let it sit for for up to a 5,6,7 count. As the others have said a drop shot, ned rig.
  2. They all have there place. And at times one will out fish the others. But I could never give up on any of them.I like the spinnerbait late prespawn, and the swim jig spawn to post spawn.I fish all of them from late pre spawn and all summer on deep fish too.
  3. Zoom trick worm,Netbait Fin. worm.
  4. Black, after awhile the red comes off and you end up with a gold hook-no thanks!
  5. I just carry everything in my boat, problem solved ! WAY TOO MUCH PLASTIC!
  6. My top colors are anything with green, light brown, white!
  7. A warm rain can get the water temps going too!
  8. You can do that but, I just keep mine in the bags that I bought them in.And mixing colors is not all a bad thing! you can come up with some cool colors from colors bleeding onto other colors! Or I get all the air out of the bags and I kinda roll them up and put them in a tackle box or takle tote.
  9. You could have overcast days and a very warm wind, that will also warm water but the sun is the main factor! Sun warms up rock and dark bottoms and dark water warms faster than clear water so it all plays into the bass moving up to spawn.
  10. I have found that the New Moon and the Crescent moon are pretty good also!
  11. I will be there in Sept. = You forgot all the old people discounts! Here in Brason we get to see shows for 1/2 off or a big discount. And I even got out of a speeding ticket because I am a Grandpa. WE ARE BLESSED!
  12. I am in MO. so I like to start night fishing post spawn to late fall. I like warm nights,I am a baby when it comes to cold nights!
  13. You can cover all water deep to shallow with them two baits!
  14. Well now,if you don't have any Senko's in that tackle box,you better get some! It is a EASY bait to fish and I have won more money on that bait than any other bait ( Maybe a jig is up there too ). But if you want to catch some bass and you are starting out on bass that would be the bait to start with.
  15. Good job bud! The first 6 + is always the hard one to get,now they will come more often!
  16. Brush Hogs, beavers,BIG worms,( any worm ), flukes,Baby paca craws, lizards,I think you get the picture!
  17. Crank,swim jig,spinnerbait.swimbait,spook,jitterbug!
  18. I like Big Game, or Gama Copolymer.12 lb.
  19. On overcast days the bass tend to move up in clear water. As posted the topwater baits are great choice. In the spring ( pre-spawn ) I like jerkbaits, cranks would be my first.Summer time I would still go to a jig, swimbait.
  20. Cain poles ,bobbers and alot of beer!
  21. The Netbait T Mac or Mann's jelly worm! The T Mac you have alot of colors to pick VS. the Jelly worm!
  22. Everyone gets there pants in a bundle about fronts! If you know how to fish after a front you can do well! I had some darn good days after a front. Like the post before me said SLOW down and move a bit deeper. They will get tight to cover and tend to not school as heavy. For me the wind is the big factor! If she is blowing it can be hard to fish and have boat control. If if warms up fast after a front then they will get active that much sooner. But if the front drops air temp 30 degrees and a slow warm up,then I would say 3 days at the worst for them to move back to where they were before the front. Now spring can be a whole new ball game ( pre-spawn ) PS- Down size your baits too!
  23. BLACK JITTERBUG ( The big one ) And a spit-n-image That is wright! I fish the big black Musky one! KILLER- why wast your time one the little one. I just change out the hooks to VMC 5/0 .
  24. The PQ baitcast reels have been good to me! But the PQ spinning reels JUNK!
