  1. No need to buy another glove! They are thin and VERY cool to wear and if they get wet they dry in no time. Great glove, and I have had mine for 4 years and still on the same pair. Washable too.
  2. VMC makes some hooks that you will like. Worm hooks EWG hooks.ect.
  3. I like that too! Good idea!
  4. Bass Pro has them. I like to use them on a T-rig! I will use two stoppers one before the weight and one after,so I can peg the weight or slide both up tight to the weight and now I have a C-rig.Oh Gander has them too.
  5. And if you want a bait with sent use Limburger cheese.
  6. NO MONO HAS IT'S PLACE FOR ME. I fish Mono on some top water but also with anything with a treble hook!
  7. Brown/blue-black/blue/-green/orange-green/brown-green/red!
  8. Netbait C-Mac or a Paca Craw!
  9. Any time that I fish a DS I rig it up this way= I use a long lead DS weight in 1/8 for skinny water and as i go deeper the I will go with a bigger weight. Now I take a VMC Spin Shot DS hook and place it about 5 to 6 in.from the weight and then I have another VMC Spin Shot hook 6 to 10 in. above the other Spin shot. This way I can cover more water and have a chance at a double! It works GREAT in the pre-spawn,post spawn and all summer.Great on boat dock's! Like WRB said not a real good bait for the spawn! Many other baits come to mind for the spawn!
  10. No i was not in the can! but I am in the Dog house alot!!!!!!!!
  11. For me Largemouth 8.7 lbs. and smallmouth 7.02 lbs both came out of Delavan Lake in Wisconsin, one of the lakes I did guide on.
  12. For me then I would pick a jerkbait then the jig! Cover water and find them then pick them with a jig but that is just me!
  13. I agree Table Rock gets hammered way more than Bull Shoals! When I have been on the Bull I was lucky to see a boat or two! And the fishing can be better than the Rock at times!
  14. For me I will take a Lew's! If I could do it over again I would have Lews on ALL my baitcaster rods!
  15. The rods are ok but, the reels are junk! The high end bait casters are good but you can keep the rest!
  16. For me in this order, JJ"Magic,Megastrike,Smelly Jelly! The thing I like about JJ's is that it works into the plastic and not just on the surface of the bait.
  17. I agree but i would like to add for me a Wiggle Wart,Jerkbait,Swimming a grub/Fluke.
  18. Thanks for all the nice posts. Well, my Wife had a bad fall in a store in Milwaukee 3 years ago and she has been through hell, but she has been getting better. Not where she should be but much better! So i had not been fishing like I would like to be fishing, and I did not have the time to be on the site and when i did it made me want to go fishing so why temp myself ( LOL ). But now I have more time to be on this site and enjoy helping others and being helped! My friend is coming down from Milwaukee to fish the Oakley Big Bass Tournament on Table Rock April 1 & 2 so looking forward to that! Thanks Again Dan, AKA Eyedabassma PS,My dad told me you never stop learning and if you think you know it all you are just a fool! That is why this site is so great at 65 years young I am still learning!
  19. I am back, not that it matters to most of you. I have not been on this site for sometime and it feels good to be back!
  20. I know everyone has a fishing budget! but what I don't get is some will buy 5 or 6 jerkbaits at $25.00 bucks a pop and not want to spend $16.00 on a Whopper Plopper. They both have there place and time to fish and they both do something different in action. All i know is the Plopper is a great bait on Table Rock and all the Mo. lakes! Great late Spring'Summer topwater! Enough said GAME OVER!
