  1. For me I like a swim jig better but like others have posted let the fish tell you what they want! As for color spinnerbait's white or white/chart. a swimming jig white or bluegill color is a killer post spawn.I also like to throw a green pumpkin swim jig.Remember you can swim ANY kind of jig it does not have to say swim jig on the package! I swim football jigs, flat top jig's,ect. The only time I want a certain head on a swim jig if I am fishing grass or a weed line!
  2. I have to go with pink too. Woo Davis showed me years ago a pink jig that he said he fished,I thought it was a joke,he was not joking! I never did the pink jig thing but pink worms, you bet!
  3. I use a Zoom Fin. worm, a ribbon tail worm, fish doctor by Zoom,
  4. I like to take a Netbait Baby or the Paca craw or a Strike King Rage craw and Neko them.It is going to put the big girls in the boat! I use little rubber bands that they use to put on with braces at a dentist office ( my wife worked there ). Or go and take a craw with you to the hardware store and match up some rubber O rings. It is just deadly with the craw as it looks to get away or trying to find a hole!
  5. Zoom,Netbait! Oh Sizmac
  6. I agree! Not much should change! You may have to go a tad deeper as some will spawn deeper than 8 ft.! Good Luck
  7. I like the Buckeye Flik-it jig for Wacky on lite baits or to fish a bit deeper!
  8. I did order the SA and they should be here any day now!
  9. i DON'T BUY THAT STUFF! Any lure will catch fish at one time or another. But I look for my lures to stand the test of time. You get what you pay for. Now plastic I may be a bit more willing!
  10. Dan from Blue Eye Mo. how do the pro's know witch bass are catchable or not catchable that are on beds?
  11. We have to look good! And mess other fiserman up by not wearing the same mask every trip.Or as my wife would say it has to match what we are wearing!!!!!
  12. Can't beat that price!! That is why I wanted to get some input from the experts that have used them. And this buy one get 4 free was not a scam! So thanks for the input!
  13. I just placed my order also!
  14. What is a good one to buy? I did see a add,buy one and get 4 free, sounds too good to be true?
  15. Keep it a cooler and out of the sun! Best sent that I have ever used. Put it on and it is on! I can smell that stuff on my bait for weeks in my garage! Don't smell it too much it will clear you sinus's out in a hurry!
  16. JJ's Magic works into the plastic where others just mask the bait or just lay on the surface of the bait!
  17. JJ's Magic and Megastrike on plastic baits to slip through the weeds better. Or Smelly Jelly would be my 3'erd choice!
  18. FOR ME IT COMES DOWN TO WATER COLOR,TIME OF YEAR,AND WHAT THE BAIT IN MY LAKE LOOKS LIKE AT THE TIME i AM FISHING! i WOULD FISH THE RED IN THE SPRING IN Table Rock with some color to the water!
  19. Remember that you throw this rig all day will plum tire you out. You need a broom stick and 65 lb. braid and a reel with a good drag system!
  20. Netbait makes a 4 in. frog that is very cool but it is not hallow.Solid plastic.GREAT as a jig trailer!!!!! Or to swim near the surface!
  21. I use both hooks on worms but i like EWG on fat worms or tubes. But a 2/0 and a 3/0 are different on small baits. As for weights get 1/8 oz. 3/16,1/4,3/8,1/2,3/4 now you can fish shallow water and deep water.
  22. The deeper you fish a jig I like to fish a heavy jig = for water less than 15 ft. I like to throw 1/4,3/8. and water over 15 ft. I like 1/2oz. 3/4 and up to 1 oz.! Now remember fall rate comes into play also, some days they want a slow falling jig so you go to a light jig.
  23. Crank ( Wiggle Wart ),jerkbait, wobble head, jig, senko.
  24. For me, a jig,swimbait,c-rig.
  25. Then get some Whopper Ploppers!!!!!!!
