  1. buzzbait at night? where would you use these? water depth and structure wise A BIG black jetterbug! But change out the hooks that come with the Jetterbug they are junk. I fish the Jetterbug around deep docks, weedlines, points, ect. This is one of the all time great night topwater baits ever made and still is!
  2. I agree with Bassin!
  3. I went back to the two Gander stores by me and I was looking at the Gander rods and the Vendetta again! And I will be buying the Vendetta for sure and I will be putting the RC BC reel on her! The problem I am having is one store has only 6'6" Mh and the other store that is about 20 miles from me has the 7'0" mh. I like 7' rods but maybe the 6'6" will do! :-/
  4. KVD line cond. that is the only one I will use! >
  5. Good stuff Big-O, I have one rod set up with a weighted hook and I had thought of setting two more up with different hook hook size and weight! So now I will have 3 sets of weighted hook rods. THANKS
  6. What baits do you fish on your weighted hook? I know that most people fish flukes, but I just thought it would be interesting to see what others are fishing!
  7. I myself would go with Mono. one it sinks and has a bit of give and with braid I think you will loose some fish that you would have caught using mono!
  8. I did take the skirt off and put a Zoom lizard on and slow rolled it on the bottom! Hold on to your rod!
  9. You can't go wrong with Sufix or Power Pro, both are great braids.
  10. The new Snag Proof Phat frog, you can't sink it! It will not take on any water. For me I like the Snag proof frogs better than any other and the new Phat frog is a winner. Just my two cents worth!
  11. I think I am leaning toward the Vendetta, but not sure yet on the M or the MH! :-?
  12. I use it on my BC reels ,works great!
  13. I did pick up a bag of the brush beaver in black neon blue. They look real nice! Anyone like this beaver over any other beavers?
  14. I am looking at one too. I did look at the 7 ft. in the MH and the M and they are almost the same tip. The tip actino on these rods are stiff. Not sure which one I want the MH od the M? :-/ I also did take a peek at the Gander rod that is 54 millions and it is on sale for $ 59.
  15. NorthStar hands down!
  16. Netbait C-mac or the T-mac worms!
  17. I agree these are very nice swimbaits. And some nice colors!
  18. Well Badger State brother! That is the way I do it too! Much better feel!
  19. For me it would have to be crankbaits! :'(
  20. I have used many sents over the years and now I have found two that I use! JJ's Magic and Megastrike! These are the only two that I will ever need!
  21. I have been like that ever since I caught my first bass ! And that was at 15 and I am 58 now ! So I had many years of going CRAZY!
  22. Save your money and get a good rod or reel!
  23. Take a good look at the NorthStar swim jigs and there grass jigs! Great jigs!
