  1. don't listen to this remedial advice. Yet another post where someone seems to "know" too much to allow alternative suggestions to be seriously considered. LC, eat all of us if that's how you're gonna be. If you think it's a bad idea how about considering explaining your thought rather than trying to make Hooligan look like an idiot. I am with you on this one! First off LC is WRONG ! I have been fishing for over 40 years now and colors can be the differance between getting a fish to hit or not. I have been on the water too many times when the bass would stop hitting a color only to start to hit another color! And LC no need to bash someone we are all here to get better and learn some more and better ways to fish. If this works for Hooligan then that is cool !
  2. NO! I have used the KVD and it has done hothing bad to my reels!
  3. The KVD line cond. is every thing they say it is! Best stuff I have ever used on a line!
  4. I take a Bitsy Bug jig and take the skirt off and put a Netbait Tiny Paca chunk or a Tiny Paca Craw on the Bitsy Bug jig with no skirt! It's a killer!
  5. I agree or Netbait has a 3 in.twintail grub that is small body and makes a great trailer!
  6. Thanks for the info guys I have learned something from this post! So it was the knot or too much tension on the main line! Thanks Again
  7. How are you spooling the line onto the reel? If your holding your rod while spooling, it must be held straight. Holding the rod too the left or the right will cause the line to favor the left or the right. If your using a spooling station, the spool must be attached to the spooling station exactly in the middle so when you attach your reel to the station the line goes on straight on and not to the left or right which will cause the problem your having. Check it out. Hopefully that is the problem and something mechanical. Good luck. Yes I was using the spooling station and I thought I had the reel and line lined up wright! It is not real bad just alittle more on one side than the other! :-/
  8. I did the UnI to Uni knot. I was putting pretty much tension on the main line to get it to lay tight in the spool! I will try to take it off onto another BC and start over! Would it cast ok like it is?
  9. The hooks on a pre-rigged worm are pretty small for a fluke!
  10. I put backing on my BC reel but why does my main line go on uneven? I never had a problem before?
  11. I didn't have a chance to try it yet! Any pro's or cons when fishing the reel?
  12. That C-rig is intresting!
  13. I have been thinking about this for some time now! I know the double fluke rig works but how about a double senko rig? I was thinking of fishing two 4 in. senko's. Not sure if it would work! What do you think or has anyone tryed this?
  14. Maybe the swivel you are useing is not a good one buy top of the line and it may stop that problem! Just a thought!
  15. I did grow up fishing the jelly worm! I don't fish them anymore because I have a ton of good worms! But maytbe I will break down and buy some in black! Great worm!
  16. YES, Just give him a call! Cool guy to talk to!
  17. The ONLY two sents that I use are JJ's Magic and Megastrike!
  18. What video did you see this on?
  19. I fish braid because it is a reaction bait so line is not a big concern. I fish 30 lb. Sufix.
  20. could you post a link maybe? i cant find it for some reason JJ is a sponser on this site! Just click on the sponser's tab and you can call him about the buzzfrog. He is a great guy! Or JJ's Magic just click on view sponsers!
  21. I don't know if any of you know this or not! But JJ's has a buzz frog out, it is more of a buzzbait but you can buzz this around pads too. I have ordered a few and they look reel nice! And he is a sponser on this site!
  22. I did buy a few packs this year! And the C-rig sounds like a great summer pattern bait! I CAN'T WAIT!
