Baitcasters are easier for me. Like my spinning gear, but with bigger hands and thicker fingers, I seem to have a problem getting my finger out of the way at the tail end of my casts. Have more difficulty with that than I do with backlashes.

I have a parabolic paired w/RevoWinch and a mhf /Revo sx, and haven't found anything I don't like. E21 must have got the message about the hook keeper though, because it was moved from alongside the nearest eyelet on the earlier model to under blank ahead of the reelseat on the later model. Much better.

In the mid-eighties, I was an hour away at a "record store" with a friend who was looking for a specific album. As I was browsing, I found an album that was titled The Dead Milkmen or the name of the group was The Dead Milkmen, I don't remember. Upon returning home to my friends house I had a message waiting for me to call home immediately. When I did, I was told that I needed to get back and finish the milk route, because my milktruck driver had been crushed and killed between the truck and milkhouse. Don't know if it fits this category, but it definately gave me pause for thought. BTW, we did the math and found that between Joe getting killed and me finding that album, both occurred within about 5-10 minutes of each other.

I wonder how true to life some television characters really are. If she's at all like her character, I think she would be a blast to hang with.

Unfortunatley now days people are getting shot for a lot less than even a friendly confrontation. It's in the news daily. If you're compelled to act at all, call authorities. They are better equipted for them kind of conversations. Years ago I was driving past some of our family property during deer hunting, when I noticed 2 pieces of orange that didn't belong. When I pulled in and went to talk with them, before I knew it I was surrounded by about 12 pieces of orange telling me that my property wasn't posted so therefore was their's to hunt. I agreed, and was more than happy to get the hell out of there. Went home and called the warden with a tag number, and promised myself never again. JMO

Had a blast up here in the central area. Hit 'em all summer in t he Medford/Riblake area. Biggest I could find though was a 4#er. Last weekend was the first time I could see any depth in my favorite lake for a long time being that the water finally turned. On my retreival with a spinner I see this log coming straight up from the abyss and just smash it out of the water. Pretty cool. Not huge, but a 40in musky/15#. Last fish of the season, unless I can make it out in the next couple of weeks. anyone else?
