  1. Not sure exactly what your looking to accomplish, but here is a thread that may answer some of your questions. Good luck, Brian http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1141187546
  2. As an afterthought, do you have a neighborhood watch? If not, talk to the sheriff's office about starting one. You can do this yourself, but it would be better to have law enforcement involved. I'm not sure how law enforcement is set up down by you, but there is maybe the possibility of having direct radio contact with the sheriff. Anyway that you may do it, be sure NEVER to confront these people. Ever.
  3. Inundate the sheriff's department with calls. Tell everybody in the area. Everytime you think you see something related to these criminals, call the sheriff. Don't make things up, be genuine, but call and call and call asking for extra patrol. I live in the biggest county in Wisconsin, and the sheriff's office is on one end and I live on the other. At any given time it can take for ever because there is only one car on my "end" of the county. It's a budget thing and may be part of your problem with patrol issues. If everyone calls each time there is a problem with these idiots, the sheriff's office gets cranky, the media catches wind, and the general public is made more aware of the problem. It sucks to put this all on the sheriff's department but it's one way of getting some action. If a deputy has to leave his normal patrol to deal with these jerks, he's apt to be upset about that. And if the deputy is upset, he's gonna make it as difficult for them as he can. Good luck, and best wishes.
  4. Welcome crankenstein!
  5. I usually lurk around the abu garcia ambassadeur area and I've noticed it right there. I guess I hadn't thought about it until you brought it up though. :-/
  6. Too bad, sounds like it was a smash mouth game.
  7. Ptomacbass, allow me to rephrase that.......... ;D
  8. DD, just wondering if you've had any more responses.
  9. Thanks guys, I think I remember hearing something about the California winning streak acouple of years ago when we were discussing other state records. That is impressive! bmadd, if you make it back here, Just wondering what kind of enrollment Maryville has. That is a set of numbers to be proud of. Our enrollment is about 250.
  10. Gman, do you still have the link? That's pretty neat.
  11. DADto4, ditto on the canned cranberries ;D ;D. And Jake, I have only had snapper a few times but soup and deepfried are awesome!
  12. My hometown Tigers just took state in D6 football for the 6th consecutive year. They tied the consecutive state record at 3 and haven't looked back. Played our long standing conference rivals, the Wildcats and we were up 7-3 with 2 minute left when the Wildcats came back with a passing drive that was setting us up for a heartbreaker, until we intercepted with 25 seconds left. No one in town to celebrate with, they're all down in Madison. Anyway, just had to tell someone!
  13. Hi la.tex, great site!

    Welcome zbass
  15. Looks like you did a A-1 bang up job. Congrats and be proud.
  16. George Carlin, especially early to mid eighties. George Carlin at Carnegy Hall was hilarious. Alot of politics in his bits back then, but usually right on and funnier than he!!
  17. Hook'em, I get it more for the hunting articles, but through the summer alot of their articles on fishing tactics are pretty good. Just my opinion, but for me the articles seem to be more straight forward, and less muddled with nonessentials than some mags. But then there's McManus! Like farmpond said, sometimes it's like he's stretched for ideas, but generally he at least leaves you shaking your head. ;D
  18. ghoti, you forgot the limited liability clause!
  19. Biggest reason for getting OutdoorLife. When you read his anticdotes, you feel you're there wittnessing the whole episode unfold. Only problem is once your done with the back page and have to go to page 68 or whatever, you spend 5 minutes trying to find it. ;D Lots of funny reading throught the years.
  20. Great job! Any time like that with parents or grand parents is well time spent. I'm sure that it meant as much or more to your grandpa than you'll ever know. Especially slaying them the way he did.
  21. And how did you do?
