  5. Welcome to the group mountain man. 8-)
  6. Wow, what an impressive list of people to be able to mingle with. I can only imagine the stories that will be told. I'm jealous of anyone able to attend. I have a few WW2 survivors in my area, and one specific guy was in the 3rd army during the Battle of the Bulge. Learned alot from him on what it was really like to be there. Have fun Zel 8-)
  7. ;D ;D ;D I like that. AA, I have the same feeling with my Northland Tackle 3/8oz golden shiner reed runner w/#5 colorado blade. Favorites=confidence!
  8. Cart7, it gives the story character! ;D Nice job Fishing Rhino!
  9. spinnerbaits have always been my go to baits. Especially earthtones in semi clear water. Chop on the water is always a bonus. Not sure what to say not knowing what the conditions were. Deep/shallow, water temp, etc. BTW, I've never had a fish that desparate to be caught! ;D
  10. Aside from bassin' I will do some panfishing, but up until 3-4 years ago it was all about MUSKY fishing! 8-)
  11. Nick, with signs that you have listed, I would schedule an appointment with a doctor and maybe have a CT scan done (looks at the brain). Your health is number one man! Take care of yourself.
  12. My milk came straight from the teet growing up; my dad ran a cheese factory and the family farm was accross the road. Out of school and into town, I switched to 2%. Now milk straight from the cow tastes too rich.
  13. You're gonna lose a little distance because of the spool capacities extra weight, but this also will depend on what type/test line your using. The distance lost is not that serious imo, and with that rod and those cranks, you probably won't even notice. Love my Winch. 8-)
  14. GMT, welcome to BR. Geez man, that's like quitting smoking cold turkey. I'm sure you'll be able to get back into the swing of things out there. Good luck and enjoy the forum, it'll soothe the soul.
  15. Welcome to BR Nathan, there's not a question out there that won't be answered here. 8-)
  16. We may need to find him a uniform too! ;D Welcome Ernest T.
  17. Nice bird, 24 lbs. is definately a keeper. 8-)
  18. I don't know why I think that's funny? ;D I need toget a life. 8-)
  19. Olebiker, too bad about your day but I can't help but laugh. Not at you, but at him. Sounds like he has some growing up to do. If he could take a page out of your book, maybe he would understand and learn. I would guess though that he is the type of guy to have an excuse for just about everything. Better luck next time.
  20. Is the spool tension knob set accordingly?
  21. What I like to do on a full spool the night before,is to spray on a good dose, give the spool a half turn, spray on another good dose and then wipe off excess.
  22. Way to go T-Rage, beng pumped is what it's all about. A man on a mission! 8-) Nice hog btw.
  23. I don't mind telling you that I found a new respect for water and boats while down there. My fishing experiance, up until Kenlake, had been out of a 50hp 16ft v hull on waters no larger than 1,000 acres (aside from Canada fishing). 21's and 225/250 hp boats on big water is definately to be taken serious, even with all the fun to be had. I hope and pray that for the families of these people.
