  6. A big YAHOO to Simp's dad!
  7. That's just stupid! There isn't even a point to the video. Obviously these fools need a life, and a hand to head talk. >
  8. Great post, great memories, and great Dad! I'm glad you have alot of good momories with him. Sounds like dad's son is a pretty good guy himself. 8-) For all the guys that are at least thinking about calling dad, do it. As Spanky and some of us others know, that option is no longer open.
  9. Do your parents know that you've been smoking that stuff? : Thought you picked up after yourself down there Mike! ;D
  10. You're two weeks late. I don't know about you Burley, but I'm up for round 2!
  11. 16' smokercraft w/50hp merc. Not much but on the small waters I fish, it's ideal. And it's paid for.

  13. Some of you guys sure seem to have issues with that furry little ape! RW, I thought all your needswere met with your new Gerber.

  15. Good to hear that after all that, you are on the road to a recovery. Keep in good spirits and all the best for a quick and speedy one. 8-)
  16. You've been baited! You furnish the tools and then she bests ya.
  17. Looks like it was a decent day to get out. Congrats to mumma on her catch and being a baitcaster convert.
  18. I have the 6'9" parabolic and it loads up fairly decent with lighter cranks. I would think the 7'2" would be even better. I normally keep the Revo winch on this rod but as Micro often mentions, the extra line capacity doesn't allow for the longest casts you can get. Last week I threw on the Patriarch and made a few casts down on the river. Between the load up and cast, it did great. I'm still in the market for a rod to throw the lighter ones though. Thinking about a Premier glass rod. :-/
  19. Man, that sounds like an awesome weekend! 8-)
  20. Welcome to BR Colton!
  21. When you don't give respect you don't earn it. He's spoiled and it shows on the oval.
  22. I also don't know what they big deal about their guides are? I've heard the "look cheap" comment many times already and have yet to have problems. I can understand people saying they don't like the looks of the guides (cosmetically), but to consistently hear that the guides are junk is just an opinion, imo. I haven't heard of one instance of the guide/guides causing a problem, and at that, A couple of bad experiences still wouldnt' be enough for me to say the guides are junk. There are some who don't like the Croix Premiers because in their opinon the Batson guides are junk. I haven't had any problems with these either. Maybe I'm just lucky. The reel seat issue is new to me also, never heard that one. The seats on my Carrots are AOK, for now anyways. The only problem with the Carrots that many didn't care for was where the hook keeper was located on the early models.
  23. BTW Greg, nice pic of Deb and yourself.
