Sports car, jeep, or truck?
Where I'm at a truck is a must. If your not haulin' the boat, your plowing snow.

Anyone else have lower back pain?
Go online and look for bio-freeze. I use it frequently for the same thing. Sometimes you can find chiropractors that carry it, but I haven't seen it on shelves. I think it's made in Europe, it's the best I have found yet.

getting a new reel, i need some opinions :)
Congrats on the E7, that's one I would like to have before the spring thaw. Never had shimano, but that's one of a couple I want before opening fishing. As for the replacement reel, I am still an abu fan. Sucks having problems like this don't it? ;D ;D Good luck and have fun with what ever you chose-ff15

The Flesh-Loving Goonch
Looks like a cross bread gargoyle. Not sure I would have the swingers to even handle one. Ugly!

Bass Depth-Activity Level-Lure Choice
Does this mean that at any given time of the day that you could find feeding bass at any given depth, that it's just a matter of what depth the bass has acclimated itself to. Most of the lakes I fish are relatively small and have maximum depths of 20'. With this minimal depth, is suspension still a large factor?

Your favorite reel brand
Now that's upping the ante. Now I'm gonna try harder for April!

Your favorite reel brand
RW, I am looking at the Stradic for this spring, are you inferring that I'm gonna get a beer out of ya if I do get one?

.22 LR ammo
Agreed with CCI ammo. Check out CCI green tag. It's a standard velocity 22 made for competition shooting, but is very accurate and consistent. Green tag isn't cheap, I think by now probably $10 p/100, but it's all I use aside from plinking. No fliers with this stuff.

The Official 'Post What You Got For Christmas' Thread
Ptomacbass and bassboy1 make a haul! Awesome. I've picked up and put down a digital scale more times than I care to remember this summer. Always had something else I needed more. Got one from my nephew(riverrat58) and niece. Thanks guys. BTW, Bassboss, if you need help spending that BPS money, give me a shout! ;D

fishing partner
Hey fishin'boy, tell these guys a bit about you and what you like to fish. Tell 'em how you fish, how often and if you river fish, lake fish, etc. There's a few on here from the Michigan area that may be able to help you out if you give them some idea of who you are and what your about. Good luck-ff15

St. Croix Mojo Swimbait Rod
Only had a chance to make a few casts before the water got hard. I have the 7' MHF and am patiently waiting for spring now. Others might give you very good argument as to why you might have went with a different rod, but as for me, I liked the design, cosmetics, and it fit my budget. I was happy with the few casts that I was able to make, but as I said, the rod seemed a bit forward heavy. With a mhf it was somewhat expected, but for me it's managable. I put it under a sx also and it looks sweet!

If someone asked you....
Never seriously thought about it until now. It never dawned on me, but looking back, I don't ever remember problem solving on the water. Any thoughts are directly related to my time on the water. Now that I think about it, maybe that's why I hate heading back to the landing.
