My Wife has taken up Paddle boarding and isn't happy that I want her to wear a life jacket. Not sure I'm buying that. While being a strong swimmer is beneficial, a PFD will keep you afloat and as long as you're floating, you're not drowning.

Thanks I may have to look into the cabins again. I was down there a couple of years ago and if I remember right the roads around the cabins would be pretty tricky with a trailer (pretty tight with some big holes on the sides). As far as hotels there used to be a (I think) Red Apple Inn just West of Rt 13, VERY shady place, good thing it's gone, crackheads in the parking lot and all. I stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn just East of Rt13, not terrible for me but, wouldn't take the wife there. I may look into Washington county, I used to bank fish down there when I was active duty. I just hate to put in and not be able to run the motor, It's a pretty big lake to troll. Now, that's a fish Love Kincaid but, no place to sleep and it's a LONG drive for an out and back. Neither of the lakes you list but, close. I spent 4 days on Rend last week, tough doesn't begin to describe...... Looking cabin or hotel near Egypt, think that's the next trip.

Hope this is the right place. I love the look of the forums. Problem/Question comes in using the "View New Content". This brings up a group of about 25 messages then "Load More Activity", scroll, then read a message (maybe two or three pages later) ,then hit "back" to get back to the new message list. Problem is that when you do that it goes back to the top of the new content list. Is there any way to get it to go back to where you where in the list?

Shouldn't say this publicly but, I don't use the alarm on the lock. Not really loud enough to do much good. A determined thief could still get in but, it would make a LOT of noise. I've got a pretty good list of what stays in the boat and insurance.

Agreed Kincaid is the place to be. Problem is there's no place close to spend the night..
