  1. If you're referring to weighted Texas rigs then I suggest you try a braided line such as power pro or suffix performance or suffix 832 on your current rod and reel. Braided line makes a huge difference in sensitivity when using contact baits such as Texas rigs and jigs.
  2. I just had a few questions regarding ceramic hybrid bearings. I personally have a set of boca orange seals in one of my curado 200e7's and a set of HP bearings abec 7's in another. Now my questions are do you prefer to run them shielded or unshielded and lubed or dry? and your reasons why please! thanks in advance.
  3. looks like a st.croix rage rod?
  4. I finally got a chance to get on the water with my new rod (croix legend extreme) and the bigojig. Made my first cast and caught a dock and lost my jig LOL! lucky i have a few more left.
  5. just put in an order, hopefully i get a chance to put them to work before it gets too cold up here!
  6. jigfshn can you post pictures?
  7. live target > spro my spros have given me more problems then just the weight being loose.
  8. looking forward to it!
  9. The weight on my Koppers live target frog has come loose after 10 or so fish. What do you guys suggest i use to hold it in place? I'm debating between gorilla glue or krazy glue but im open to other suggestions as long as i can find it in store.
  10. what part of mi were you in?
  11. I just grabbed the vendetta today to test it out, we'll see how it performs on the water.
  12. I'm looking for a new flipping stick maybe occasionally used for punching although its nothing too thick cause i'm in southeast michigan. Anyone have any opinions about the 7ft 6in MH vendetta as far as sensitivity and durability etc.? It's between this or the BPS carbonlite, but my buddy is giving me a good deal on the vendetta.
  13. What do you do when you get a bass and it gets hung up in a tree? It's happened to me a few times and I usually just try to break the limb or whatever it is and muscle them out which works but today I lost one of my biggest fishes of the day doing this. I use 65lb suffix braid and a 7ft heavy rod. just wondering what other effective methods you guys use?
  14. as long as your longest rod doesnt exceed the length of your roof you should be fine.
  15. basspro sells a cheap but efficient rod holder for the inside of your car.
  16. just remember to wet your line before cinching the knot!!!
  17. 65lb suffix braid (fluoro leader when needed.)
  18. did you get the "finesse" rod? if so i have a 3000 ci4 on mine and i love it.
  19. used higher end rod in the fs section .
  20. I have suffix 65lb braid on both of my casting set ups & use a fluoro leader when needed. If you aren't fond of thick diameter line then you might wanna give the 50lb a shot.
  21. i would go with a curado on a cumara, check americanbassoutlet.com they're a sponsor for our forum too.
  22. i use the same thing that i would use on a cloudy day, the fish are already wet they don't care about a little rain.
