How can you tell that there are fish in a pond? i was driving around today looking around a neighborhood, when i come upon two ponds they looked like they were man made ponds. i thought to myself, hell their could be some fish in there so i threw it out there a couple of times. i didnt get any nibbles or bites, but i was wondering if there was any way you can tell by looking at it if there are any fish in it.

15 Fish is alot i would have kept about 2 of the alright sized fish, maybe a pound fish, but if the guys making an income off the fish he catches then he has all the right to do it. Running the fish out of the pond is not right considering the other anglers that fish that pond.

i will definetly take your advice! thanks. what if you are using the type of hooks the Gamakatsu 4/0 EWG Offset Worm Hooks, how do you avoid the stumps and weeds underneath. do you use a weed less hook, which i use mostly now, and how do you avoid it.

I fish a pond like that around the Myrtle Beach area. what can be done to find the fish in there. i know they are there, i just can't get my lure to attract the fish. and pointers.
