I usually dont drink light beer unless I'm low on cash and then I go and visit nattyville but other wise I usually drink Budweiser. I use to pick with one of my buddies about Miller because he drove a beer truck earlier this year and he would be the only one drinking Miller lite wherever we went

Yeah Im really excited because it'll be my first year fishing the fall and my gramps hates hot weather so therefore he doesnt like to get out on the water as often during the summer time but he loves the fall so I have a feeling we'll get to do a good amount of bassin' for the remainder of the year ;D

That sucks! I know how it feels to have stuff stolen...I left one of my browning spinning rods in the back of my truck one night while I was at Radford Universtiy visiting some friends and it was gone the next day!

So all you Virginia guys around here, what month do you consider the Fall feed to be in full swing? I have a hard time remembering when it really starts to cool down but I'm thinking around mid sept. to mid Nov. would be the perfect time to be on the water. This will be my first time fishing the fall and I'm very excited!

Thanks! That was the very first fish of the day and after that the biggest might have been close to 3lbs. I dont know if we were getting winds from the storm already or what but it was a constant 6/7 MPH winds the whole day and I actually think that was keeping most of the decent size bass more active. I think I'll be heading back up there sunday or monday if weather permits.

Well mostly this year (when the water was up) I waded in anglers park which is in Dan Daniel's Park. Thats the biggest smallie by far I have seen anyone ever catch in the Dan, the average most of the time is 1/2 - 1 1/2 lbs but its still fun if you can get into them. Thanks guys! I didnt accurately measure it but I want to say it was around 15 or 16 inches in length and it had a fat old belly on it...I really wish I would have had a friggen scale! I guess that will be my next investment.

Yes I need to know what you guys think this SM weighs in at. I caught it in May of this year out of our local river (Dan River) and just finally pried the pictures from my best buddys camera today!! I'm thinking between 3 and 4 lbs and no I did not keep this fish, only had him on the stringer to live while I ran across the river to get the camera lol

Caught this one this morning at briery.....the bite was on pretty good from 6am until about 8am then it slowed down quite a bit. This bass measured out to be 19 inches long, I'm not sure on the weight. All in all we caught 10 fish most of them being between 1lb to 2 1/2 lbs. I think I'm going wacky for wacky rigging lol

So last thursday I had some problems with my battery (thought I didnt charge it earlier in the week) so it wasn't a good trip but we still managed to land 3 fish 1 being between 12 - 16 inches. So I charged my battery lastnight and went out again today early this morning and what do ya know! the battery dies again!! So I went to wally world to get it checked and it went bad but they traded me even for a brand new one that actually works! But despite the fact of having no trolling motor, the first 2 1/2 hours me and my friend managed to land 8 or 9 fish mostly being dinks but my buddy caugh a nice 17 incher so all in all it was a good moring. WayneP. - Are you still going this week? I'll be down there again wednesday morning around 6:30 am.
