Any Va Members Fish Lately?
Our club fished Diascund, my first time there! Big lake for electric only! We finished 2nd with just under 10lbs, 1st had 12lbs. We didn't catch much in the morning till i realized the fish were still on beds, then it was on! 4 outta 5 keepers came off beds! It was a fun day! Biggest fish of the tourney weighed was about 4.5lbs by another team.

Finishing In A Tie?
Just curious , we had a tie in our club for 8th place and both got awarded 8th place points then went on to 9th position and on...(keep in mind we are a new small jon boat club 1yr old going in 2nd season so not all rules have been ironed out so to say) and we never had a tie. One of the guys brought up since it was a tie there should be no 9th place points and should go straight to 10th place. I've read other similar clubs rules and they have tie breakers as in who catches either the biggest fish or the most fish weighed out of the 2 teams. What is the most common rule in this situation?? should there be a next position after a tie or skip one or do tie breakers and dont even have a tie? what are your thoughts?

Jet Boat Help!
Most of the guys here where i live on the James River have outboard jets and seem to very do well! There is a guy who builds them locally maybe you could call him and get some suggestions as its all he does is jet boats!! He does some amazing work, the boats he builds go in just inches of water. Check out his site and maybe give him a ring with some of your questions... http://www.jamesriverjets.com http://www.jamesrive...m/Boat_spec.htm

Google Earth Or ? Anything Better ?
sometimes bing.com maps are more clearer then google maps but not always...On certain lakes in my area i can see shallow water structure ,humps etc better on bing then i could with google.

What To Do? What To Do?
wonder how well A-rig would have worked....Looks like the Carhartt College Series East Super Regional on April 13-14 and by the talks of it seems like they think the A-rig will be a factor during this Tourney. I still think alot of fish there are still in prespawn stage then spawned from what i saw. And your right temps did fall into the 30's the night bf. here is the write up: http://www.bassmaster.com/news/smith-mountain-horizon
