  1. I'd try a tube with a heavy weight, or a worm or creature bait.
  2. You can wacky rig it, fish it like a jerkbait, or deadstick it.
  3. I never use a net cause I don't take the time to think about it.
  4. The way I catch most of my bass on a lizard is C-riggin. I also like to crawl them along the bottom instead of hopping them like a worm or something else or slowly swim them through cover with a steady retrieve.
  5. I've caught 4 all around the 5 1/2 lb. mark in my little pond. Caught 2 on a frog, 1 on a jig, and 1 on a 7.5 in. worm.

Thanks, I might try that if I see one of those books anywhere.

I would like to hand tie some jigs and was wondering if anyone could help me cause I have no idea how.
  8. Hart buzzbaits in white/red or chart./red. Strike King spit-n-king in gizzard shad. Zoom horny toad or Yum buzzfrog in chart., white, or watermelon seed. Zara Spook in ghost. Bobby's perfect frog.
  9. 1)Hart 1/2 oz. bleeding shad spinnerbait with a silver willow and gold colorado. 2)Hart Justice jig in fish hunter green/ red flake with a Yum watermelon red chunk on it. 3)Zoom Trick worm in watermelon purple glitter with a 3/8 oz. jighead. 4)Strike King series 1 crankbait in gizzard shad. 5)Zoom Super Hog in watermelon red. 6)Hart Ticker buzzbait in chart./red. 7)Yum 7.5 in. ribbontail worm in red shad. 8)Yum 5 in. Dinger in watermelonseed. 9)Strike King KVD Wild Shiner in clown. (cold water I like suspending and warm water floating.) 10)Hart Shocker tube in boomer shad or blue bruiser.
  10. I would try changing color, changing size, and maybe line size also.
  11. I would definetly throw a horny toad and a scum fog on it.
  12. I would try a scum frog, horny toad, both weighted and weight less worms and I've also done good in grass with a weight less tube but you got to use a heavy hook and I usually put a rattle in also, to help it sink.
  13. I've used braid on a spinning rod and it was fine I used 20lb. Power Pro which has the line diameter of 8 lb. mono.
  14. I always throw a trailer hook and I throw in cover alot and the trailer hook really doesn't hang up very much. The only time I use a plastic trailer is if they are short striking or real dirty water.
  15. Sounds crazy but I like it.
  16. I love fall cause I love to power fish. I start chunkin spinnerbaits, shallow cranks, and jigs like crazy.
  17. I used to not have much confidence in it but now it's one of my favorite and most effective ways to fish. I put a trick worm on a 1/8 oz. or 1/4 oz. jighead and hop it, drag it, and I've caught a few swimming it back.
  18. Yeah most of the time it just feels heavy, but I will reel up all the slack and pull on it just a little bit to see if it moves.
  19. My C-rig rod and reel is a Shimano Curado on an All-Star 7'0 Tom Mann Jr. C-rig rod. I will throw just about any soft plastic bait.
  20. 7 even on a bleeding shad Hart spinnerbait, 22 in. didn't get the girth but was full of eggs real fat fish.
  21. It's just gonna happen but you could try the glue but I just replace it when it gets ripped.
  22. I would go with the buzzbait because I like to fish faster, and I've caught more and bigger fish on it.
  23. I usually like tubes just a little better but if there hitting them both I'd go with a jig cause it will catch more bigger fish.
