  1. They definitely look a lot better when they were young than when they reach 9 lbs. Unique catch nonetheless.
  2. Wow, that's the kind of customer service I'm talking about. Cabela's is great!
  3. Nice fish. I'd be happy with a 5lber any day.
  4. I wish I had a job where I could fish then maybe getting up to go to work isn't so bad. :'(
  5. No wonder I don't catch fish like that I'm fishing at all of the wrong background locations! Nice fish!
  6. I'd guess a little over 5lbs.
  7. Wow, what a fish! Story was awesome. Perfect ending. Thanks for sharing.
  8. It's always a good feeling when your younger ones catch fish.
  9. I'd say it's around 10 lbs. Awesome looking fish!
  10. How big was the fish?
  11. Great story, thanks for sharing. Too bad she got away.
  12. I don't like the feeling of fishing alone. I mean what if I catch a monster and have no one to celebrate with? It's always more fun to have someone there to witness the catch and take a couple of photos.
  13. Welcome to the forum, new guy. Oh, that would be me too. ;D
  14. 3rd Weird One time I caught two fish with one hook. I caught a bluegill and a 5-6 lb catfish. I thought that was kind of neat.
  15. I'm just wondering what's the weirdest thing you guys caught/pulled up while fishing. 1st Weird I was using 4 lb test Maxima line and a small hook, caught something pretty heavy, got it to almost where I can see it and the line snapped. I was disappointed I didn't see what it was. It was time for us to leave, I brought up the anchor and there was my little hook attached to a little piece of Maxima 4 lb test line. I thought it was pretty funny at the time. 2nd Wierd I was with a buddy fishing for stripers when I hooked a nice bass that I thought had a hook on its back. After scooping up the fish in the net I realized it wasn't a hook at all but a tag for $200. Let me know if you'd like to see a picture of the tagged fish.
  16. I'd love to be the person owning that house right by the pond. Nice looking fish.
  17. I love spinnerbaits. My favorite is the Terminator Tungsten Skeet Reese version, 7/16 oz. Works like a charm.
  18. Very cool. Spending some time with dad and catching some bass. Now that's wonderful.
  19. Wow, that's one awesome looking fish. Nice!
  20. Ahhh...now that's the life.
  21. I wonder how much Shimano is going to raise the price for this new model. $150 is a deal.
  22. I'd be happy to catch one that size, nonetheless. ;D
  23. Well, test to see just how strong the line is yourself. If the line breaks on you without you putting a lot of resistance, then it's probably is the line. If it breaks at the knot, then it may be the way you tie your knot.
  24. Wow, 600 years. I wonder why it takes such a long time. I've been throwing it in the trash but I guess start recycling it.
