No one really knows how the new ones are going to perform yet so I would probably buy the 201 DHSV while they are still in stock then later buy a new one if the reviews are good.
It sounds like the clutch pawl spring has broke.
If you are not familar with the internals of the reel I would send it to Reel Mech to get it cleaned and fixed.
I really like the ABEC 5 Ceramic hybrids from boca bearing.
I did try some stainless ABEC 7's which were okay for the price but I think the boca's are better.
Both reels are good choices and each one has its own advantages.
I think the Chronarch casts and pitches the lighter stuff allot better than the zillion but I would say the zillion has more powerful gearing and more line capacity.
So depending on the weight of the lures you'll be using and line capacity each one has it's own advantages. Both are great choices and I don't think you could go wrong with either one.
The only time that you will see the handle back play is if you tighten the drag down all the way and put your thumb on the spool and move the handle back and forth. I highly doubt that you will ever notice it while fishing.
I think that quantum has came along way with their reels but after having two Energy P.T.'s crap out on me I don't think I willl buy another quantum. I will say this though quantum has some excellent customer service and quick turn around time.
