  2. i'm pretty sure my mom's never been to rhode island... :-? Hey Russ, didn't you have a UPS root out in Mass a while back? ;D da.... da.... ..... ...daddy?! :-/ Nope, can't be me,......the fish in your avatar is too small to be from a son of mine This would be a better candidate for MY kid,...lol
  3. Excellent guys, thank you.
  4. I disagree. I have spinning reels that will pull your house off the foundation. Once a drag (spinning OR b/c) is locked down, it's locked down. The line or rod will break long before the drag will slip. It's personal preference.
  5. It's BassResource man,...ask and you shall receive!!

  7. Yes,...more pics please I can hear him now,..."Honey,...I'm going to need a bigger shop and a few new tools...." another wrapper is born. You'll love that reel seat, Flechero used one on the spinning set up he made me last yr. VERY comfy Good luck, looks great so far!!
  8. Speak up for yourself Jake. Don't be afraid to say "I don't know how, teach me",..or even better,....TRAIN me! A new job is tough till you settle in and learn who's who. Keep your eyes and ears open but most importantly, if for safety sake only,....SPEAK UP if you have questions. I train at UPS and if I am not getting questions out of you, something is wrong. You MUST have questions or I will assume you are not getting it because there is no way you could if you haven't been questioning what I have been telling you. The way I teach, I put you in situations where I expect you to vocalize what you are thinking so I can guide you w/o holding your hand or doing the job myself. If they haven't been asking me questions, they very well may not make the cut. In our business, you WILL run into situations that you don't know the answer to. I need to know that you aren't afraid to express your concerns or the customer is the one who will suffer. If the customer suffers, the biz suffers. Good luck
  9. Tin was in the N.E. Tech school. He was in the outboard motor program. PM him for details. Personally, I would rather crunch numbers. Make your money with your brain, not your back. If you had a self owned accounting biz, you could set your own hours Open- roughly 1-3 hrs after sunrise closed-roughly 1-3 hrs before sunset
  10. Won't be as stable as a jon but should be fine. Trick here is keeping the center of gravity low. I wouldn't deck any higher than the bench.
  11. You're so full of it,....I did it all,....paid for it too..... : ;D Nice job boss, like lightning over here on the east coast.

  17. Sure, but 3 is a borderline age. We don't bring the kids out till they hit 4, 4.5 usually and at that age, it's 1 adult min for each child. We use 1236's A short vid of Erics boys in action. VIDEO
