  1. the C4 minnow (developed in Vietnam) Brings them to the top like no other !!! ;D ;D
  2. Discipline yourself. Pick one, own it, pick another.
  3. LR, it's a stick behind him
  4. The areas I chose have 3 things all in very close proximity to each other. shallow water, deep water and a flat. (the arrow is a BEAUTIFUL point). Start around 5-8 ft and work your way out to the deep stuff. A tapering point that starts off shallow and runs out to a 40 ft depth just makes me want to cast at the picture alone!! in Borat's words,...veddy niiiice!
  5. B12., site was down for roughly a week while we changed servers,...notice how flawless and fast we are running now? and yes, I'm still pulling them out,....of the lake and putting them back in Welcome home buddy.
  6. That's ok FM, I haven't sent these yet. Same for you jeremy, send it along, don't forget to add screenname to back of sticker. My address is in orig post. Thanks guys
  7. At the end of he day, you are a part of our family. No running away anymore, let us deal with a crumb like the one in question. Anonymous my ___!! I got him. Noone messes with family
  8. Holy cow, let's get some prayers flying for these families. What a tragedy.
  9. That's what we like to hear!! Catt, ....give it a minute ;D
  10. Absolutely!! This is the first I've heard of this, I'm on it. PS, I spoke with Avid on the phone yesterday and I know for a fact that he thinks the world of Mike.
  11. Weighs? You mean Weighed :-[
  12. These are the areas I would start off in, especially the one with the arrow.
  13. Food availability and climate in relation to metabolism I think, are the 2 biggest factors. Bass metabolism goes much quicker in warmer water, allowing them to "process" more nutrients. A Miami bass feeds more and for more months of the year than a Boulder bass. I would say that for Colorado, 6,7's are one he!! of a catch, especially consistently!
  14. Carl, I will answer this one with your best interests in mind. Leave it alone. Just Let him know you appreciate his humor, if he did that to the wrong fan, he could have gotten in trouble. With this said, you could have pretended that you wanted his job for this severe insult. Get his boss in on it. The only issue is,.....your driver has SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many ways to get you back. War with the delivery personnel is not recommended unless you are really ready to dig in.
  15. shoot, I was kinda hopin' for a hug,.... Stay focused, lose the aggression and frustration and fish relaxed. (This small advice has helped senko77 tremendously, ask him) Create a mind set on the way to the lake that you probably won't catch tonight, but it sure is gonna be nice to be on the boat instead of on the couch. If you don't catch, you are not so disappointed or frustrated. If you DO catch, you are overwhelmed with pride/joy and the beginning of a new confidence. You, of all people, I would think, can understand that "MINDSET" is 1/2 the battle. Nothing worse than fighting yourself, keep it you vs the fishies. Good luck muddy buddy
  16. speaking of front and back, another thing that is just a nice additive, is that when fishing deep, there tends to be a lot less of a difference between whether you are the guy up front running the t/m or the guy in the rear.
  17. Ya know, the beauty of "paying it forward" is that there is only one rule. -Pass along an act of kindness as one was passed to you. smiles are contagious and one way of paying it forward is with action. Midnight, being moved by Muddy's story, and having the central issue in common, you might give thought to taking one of those "other" guys who have noone, fishing with you. Or even better, with you and your son. Should this suggestion strike a chord with you, PM me and I'll get some equipment to you for you to pass on. You could be a "satellite" muddy man and a true mook of mooks
  18. Do you guys remember a few weeks back, I caught a fish by the snell? We have caught 5 fish in roughly the same area with snells in them, one was stuck in the "exit", snell hanging out, hook still up there. we snipped line and let her go, obviously she's ok so far. Hooks do not "rust out" like you think, ESPECIALLY as GW mentioned with todays newer metal compounds. Even a regular steel hook IN SALTWATER doesn't just disappear in a week. Below is a pic of the rapala pliers we have used over the past 3-4 yrs. The split ring "beak" on the tip is PRICELESS for getting a grip at the right angle and guiding your placement of the plier tips while down in the fishs' gullet. Can't say enough good things about these. Only drawback is they don't float. Attaching a floating boat key ring does the job though.
  19. BB's have to be "tuned" like many other lures, sometmes, right out of the box, sometimes, not till they've been tortured by many bass. For a BB that runs true, out of the package, try a cavitron or clacker.
  20. Hit the drop "add to cart" button to see the price on THIS 9" bait,lol.... The real kicker is it is "sold out"
  21. Positive reinforcement muddy, that's all the guys are doing by posting the jig threads. Great advice from Catt, find the fish with what you know ,..THEN start bouncing that jig.... BIG TIP If you know they are there and you still can't get one on a jig,....SLOW IT DOWN. Creep it with a slow drag on bottom till you touch structure. Pop it over or thru the structure and keep it going,....slowly! Good luck Mud, we ain't givin' up on you yet.
  22. I have been using other people's tackle for a few weeks now. My stock was stolen last week. Today I was on Craig's boat from Ericcsons's tackle, if I needed it, he had it. Stratosdadri has made me up a box of all kinds of good stuff that I don't normally use. I am looking to widen my horizon's (not by choice, lol) using some of these baits. I fished a crankbait last night and did ok. Having no tackle is a drag for sure.
