Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!! You guys are the bright spot in my day, it's been a tough one but this thread sure made a difference!! The 8 hr day I requested (allowed to request 2/month) so I could have dinner with my family has turned into a 13 hr one. As I type (on my lunch break), my family is out to dinner without me, at my favorite restauraunt. It's a contract year so UPS has cut lots of routes to NOT show man hours, What can brown do to for you??? OK, I feel better, my birthday vent. Got a special friend making dinner for me later and my BR buddies gave me a great shout out so what do I really have to complain about?? nuttin' HELL YEA I"M 40!! Still have 20/20 vision, perfect cholesterol, perfect blood pressure, certainly not overweight and no need for any blue pills just yet Sure,...Life is good THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!!!

Yes, although we see the site as new and improved, certaily FAST, with no page load issues, switching servers has created a bunch of work for Glenn. He is still at it. Even though what we see is fine, there are glitches behind the scenes. After days of hard work, the store is now up (example) This is all part of the growing pains, but rest assured, Glenn is ironing out the kinks daily. Give him a little time and I'm sure this function will be corrected. Personally, I'd rather see him get a day on the water and put this off for a bit. Glenn is the last guy we want to be burned out and he has to be close.

Every day, my belief that color is "most often" irrelevant, gets stronger and stronger. From our experiment this spring, catching 21 fish on 21 colors in 4 hrs, to the fact that a bass is gonna tag something if it looks "alive and edible", regardless of color. Had this conversation this weekend w/ a tourny angler, he said if you ever fish Champlain, don't bother unless you use blk/blh. I have a tough time with that. A. A bass is a bass. I f3eel I could fish witrh confidence in Champlain using ant natural color. B. If you believe in the blk/blu theory so much, what are the chances you gave ANY other color a fair chance last time you were there? All these colors,...I think it's more about the green (in your pocket!)

I gave FM my cell # and told him to have Bucket call me in a week to remind me. : ;D So, yesterday, on AIM, Bucket demands again that I re-instate him, mentioned something about a tank and a turret ??? I don't know,....missile? supposedly, I got blown up,lol I explained that he is more than welcome to come play but in order to forfeit his dare, he would have to post an apology to me that I wrote He replied "NEVER" and kicked sand again,...Back in the corner.... ;D

Last week, we were down at a local lake doing the local news shoots for the Jr TBF champs. One of the kids, Delainey, has a sponsor named "Oceangirl". They are a rod company. The main builder was there and he gave all of us a quick seminar on Oceangirl rods. Well after about 1/2 hr of spiel and Q&A, he noticed my rod that you built sitting on Stratosdadri's deck. He was all eyes man, spinning, inspecting, all he said was , "very well made..." I think he was really blown away. I have gotten LOTS of comments on that set-up and it has been a very good all around rod for me. Fresh to salt, she performs excellent. Just a little feedback for you. I will remember a pic for you one of these days, I swear, problem is I have been pretty much nocturnal lately and the pics would not do it justice. Soon though, I promise.
