  1. Who drove the getaway car???..... ;D "our father got around..." forgot all about that one! ;D ;D
  2. "Chris" is no slouch either. Chris was the 2nd moderator at BR and had to step back when his tackle pouring business started to amp up. He was known for his EXTREMELY informative articles regarding seasonal patterns. He would take each season and break it down so all could understand. I have to say, I learned more from Chris, coming back into the freshwater game again, than from any 1 contributor other than time on the water. I wish he were still around.
  3. FC, do you fish any water with pickerel?? same thing but bigger. When they are in supply, they will fight over who gets to the bait first. Collisions are common. You'll have a blast, I just hope it's not "too easy" for what you are used to hunting.
  4. Whew,...I saw the title and the poster and thought I was gonna get reprimanded by the guru, lmao CHEATER!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
  5. Now this is input from someone who I consider is at a professional level of angling. Very valid, useful info. but ......let's remember...............the indians got it done with a piece of bone

  10. Who's was bigger??
  11. Now that's a REEEEAL fishing chick. From the front deck to the club in less than 20 minutes!!! Glad you found them mom, no chance of lending Joe one of those 2 remaining bets I assume??? I'm starting to feel for Joe also,....I think he needs a weekend with the boys
  12. First off, Kudos for stepping up. This is my .02 also. I fish a lot with kids and this is quite common. DO NOT say,..."look, even your little sister can do it" KEEP IT ALL POSITIVE, keep it a rewarding experience and continue it at home. Go to the wife when the child thinks you are not aware he is nearby and tell her how proud you are of him, etc, how well they did,....it makes it real for them to hear you tell someone else how great the little guy did. Also, bring snacks. Bring a frisbee, bring a football. Don't make it all fishing, mix it up so they stay tuned in to the time they are spending with you, not just the goal of catching fish.
  13. Check the size of your file, usually the case. If you still have issues, PM me

  16. Oh man,....when you said "pictures", I quickly scrolled down, lmao ;D ;D ;D Great story!! I think the headline would have read "Naked hairless squirrel found floating with bored mook" ;D
  17. Yup, sometimes, they are disconnected from the previous owner or the squirrels can get 'em
  18. Good luck John J! You are embarking on a great stage of life, the trick is to balance enjoying it and applying yourself to school at the same time.
  19. What's the length, action and power of that spidey rod? Quite a few nice fish being caught on those this year!! Looks like you will never need to fish alone again, great job!
  20. Yea, that dude built one heck of a tutorial!! (hehehe) ;D
  21. Using Firefox and I don't have that issue. Might be another ID 10 T error?? Call Harold.
  22. If I give you another 1000, will you buy me one too?? Great having you around Carl. I was one of the fortunate ones who got the chance to meet Carl at Lake Fork. Truly a pleasure and I look forward to meeting again in the future (we are stuffing you and Muddy in the same boat and we'll see what you guys can hit, lol) Mike- You are relentless. ;D
  23. After 40 years, and a pretty successful career with women, I have only 1 fool proof approach. Be Yourself. (especially a nice guy like you Jim)
