  2. Don't look at me!!!! If you had sent it with us, I could have told you exactly where it was, every minute of the day and I'd put a Ben Franklin on the table that says it wouldn't have been in NJ!!! That nice couple saved the day, not the USPS. PS- Send them a Gift certificate for the movie theater near their house you tightwad!!! ;D
  3. Catt- Bring drift sock and a bible. :

Thanks for all your efforts Dominick and Zel
  5. Fish- Striper or any "sole" stuffing-Ritz,chopped garlic, fresh parsley,salt/peppper, water toill moist (no, you don't need butter, ritz has plenty of that in them) Lay out filet, spread stuffing across the top and BAKE Now, you want to COOK it on 350 till it flakes apart or longer if you are a "well done" type Serve with a lemon wedge, steamed asparagus and a few baby red potatos
  6. Way to go! Mixing it up and not quitting when the bite dies on the bait you have on is what it's about. Nice job (oh yea,3.5 is my guess too)
  7. I gotta say Burley,...from your avatars,...you don't look very healthy :-[ ;D
  8. Rich, welcome aboard, beautiful work!!! I'd love to see you active in the "tacklemaking" section. We have a few custom builders here who really know their stuff and love experimenting. I think you'd make a great addition to the crew. BF- I feel that it certainly can reduce weight. A balanced rod is a balanced rod but a lighter, balanced rod is preferred. It's not a lot of weight but when you are talking about rods that only weigh 5-10 ounces to begin with, it could be quite substantial. I also cast 2 handed and love the split grip feel for this. And sure, they look cool too. BF- Love the new avatar, that shirt looks good on you man!!!
  9. Well, I'm no billboard for health, I have my vices but EXERCISE should NEVER be discounted. Has anyone noticed the youth of this country lately????? General rule--Avoid growing a "Dingydo" (that's the medical term for when your belly sticks out further than your dingy do) : ;D
  10. Hey Muddy,....SO DO YOU!!! ;D ;D ;D (remember Fork!)
  11. A bicycle in the road is considered a vehicle. You are the vehicle "entering" traffic. HE has the right of way. If it were a car, you may have been cited for "failure to use caution when entering traffic" He hit the back of your car so it would seem that he was at fault BUT,......had he been 14 feet ahead, he may be dead. If this were more serious, fault would be irrelevant, life would have changed for you VERY quickly. Now, I'm not being a jerk, but being a new driver, I am just trying to point out just how much of what happens out there is YOUR responsibility. BE CAREFUL!! I train drivers at UPS, if you would like some of our safe driving literature, let me know. We have created our own training program at UPS, we go way above and beyond what many driver training companies do. WAAAAAY beyond. PM me your address if interested. (sorry bout the ding, that sucks)
  12. Jim McCune is the Jr Director for Ill. 217-469-7106 He can answer anything you need.
  13. You fellers thank yer so smarty pants. Well ya hain't fooled me none. I knows a peacock is a bird an ain't no fish. shazammm you city folk make my tooth hurt. It's a bird??? I could have sworn it was an anatomical insult. ;D
  14. That's excellent. It's not just a personal accomplishment, you are now better prepared for life in general. I always teach any g/f I have how to drive a stick if they don't know how. God forbid there is ever an emergency and a stick is the only car available.......Just good to know how, no matter what. Good Job. While we are on the topic. SEATBELT! Click it. Keeps you in the seat to DRIVE OUT OF an accident. Can't drive a car from the passengers seat (unless you deliver mail or live in England )
  15. Jim, need your address, will send you an LBH shirt. ;D the new ones have a CAST logo and a BR logo,my personal ones will also have an *** url.....some guys just like to represent, and in the case of ***, it's a way of saying "Thank You". All positive stuff
  16. Nope,...and it's a good thing because God knows the Irish sure don't want him,.... ;D ;D ;D
  17. GO DEEP!!! Personally, the description of the points sounds like the perfect place for draggin' a jig. This change will definitely make you a better angler either way. When you go back home (to visit or whatever), you'll find fish in places on your old lakes that you probably never paid attention to. You'll have "new eyes" in other words. Good stuff, stay on it.
  18. Not sure if this is total joke or 1/2 truth . I also went to the doctors lately and got the opposite report but same warning. Blood pressure-fine weight-fine cholesterol-dead on BUT....I just turned 40 and was warned that all those perfect scores can change in a weekend. Time to keep an eye on myself. But I love M&M's too so I think I'll be fine
  19. HOLY CRAP!!! Glad you are here and glad you shared your story!! That's one heck of a vacation,...you met a bunch of women AND got a helicopter ride....was all that in the brochure??? ;D Glad you came through it ok buddy!
  20. That's it RW?? I was scrolling down, looking for your reply and thought it would have been sterner, lol. RW has zero toleration for "breaking line" stories, only because there is simply no excuse. (unless the fish wrapped you on something) Knot and drag attention should always be in check. Easy to SAY but I've lost fish for the same reasons. More than once, lol. Live and (try to) learn
  21. No shame there,....that's the power of a woman, lol I always bust the chops of the RI fiberglass boat owners (being a small state, we all know each other). "Boat rides".........did you buy that thing to fish or is it a mid life crisis thing and you couldn't afford the corvette,lol....just need to go fast? Buy a motorcycle!! ;D Way to go Deb, It's like hitting on women,......success is always just 1 more cast away!
  22. Welcome Aboard
  23. My tube is low, thanks for the heads up on this offer Bobby.
