Lets look at the facts first. I'm not defending UPS because I work there, actually, I pretty much hate the company right now BUT...... UPS has less damages than any other shipping company. Point blank, period. Check the numbers before making a decision on who to trust it with. The nature of the business will result in some damaged pkgs. As for the employees purposely smashing stuff....not in Providence. I can't speak for any other facility but that crap don't fly here. You would be fired on the spot, immediately if you were seen damaging someones parcel. No union rep will defend you for it either. This, like drugs and alchohol, is simply not tolerated.

Skillet makes a good point. This site is a vision of Glenn's. The idea to have a bass fishing site that is a family friendly, tutorial/social board isn't a task many would take on. From day 1, the rules have been enforced with no waivering. In time,....this is what we got. My point, however, is that Glenn's vision, and our (mods) supervision, are only an outline. If the members chose not to stick to it, there would be no BR. We have set up and maintained a home but if the occupants don't agree with the vision, it falls flat on it's face. We are just proving to the world that folks from every age, every walk of life, religion, nationality CAN get along. (as long as we don't have to fish against each other,lol) MEMBERS are what makes a site special. Glenn just had the intuition to know what kind of site to build that would attract the kind of folks that would make this place different. NOT alot of sites, fishing or otherwise have a memberbase that participates and interacts together like we do. We really are one big family here. Like I said before, why don't I join a bass club? Because I'm already a member of a bass family!!

Pain- Be sure to keep that tube and the cap handy. MOST IMPORTANT is that you keep ALL ORIGINAL PACKING MATERIALS. This means the foam or paper, anything you used. This is how they get you, by saying "well you threw the packing away, how can we be sure it was packed right?". It is also in writing somewhere that it is your responsibility to do so. Being insured, you shouldn't have an issue.

Oh man, talk about having the carpet pulled out from under you,....I got bumped. When I was told I could take that job, the manager running the bid said it was current. It wasn't. 3 people ahead of me had yet to submit their slips and one of them bid for that job. Nothing I can do. Why is that??? This is not my experience, a heavy rod with a reel that has a locked down drag is just that, locked down. Line will break before reel's drag will fail. I have been fishing a lake with very little flip/pitch terrain. I use spinning gear there 95% of the time with NO issues. Baitcasters come with me to places like Fork but not the home lake. Very clear water where the long cast makes the difference. Spinning gear there, allllll day long,lol.

I have a tienna reel coming this week, not sure about the rod, never held one. New product.

Every battery I ever bought was from sears and they test it before it leaves the store. It should be charged when you bring it home.

1. you're right 2. That was your cheap date, not the LM ;D Well I've done somthing close before. Eric met me on route the day I got the Fenwick from RW. Of course he sent it with a spooled up reel,lol Eric met me with a jig and we made some casts with it. Otherwise, I have 2 general areas I deliver that have fishing holes on them. I have rods at 2 tackle shops out there and they aren't there for looks Good thing I'm going to be working inside again,.........lol

Nope, that was just enough,lol Home is where the heart is. I have alot of friends here now, it's like my clubhouse,lol. People always ask why I am not in a club and I tell them I am. I'm in the friendliest, most informative club there is. (we just don't compete against each other. )
