I voted no. That lake is mine and I ain't sharin' unless you're on MY boat, lol.

Good replacement for Gary Yamamoto senkos
That's the only way I fish them but I hadn't realized till I fished with Redtail in Mass that many lakes just wion't let you fish it wacky because of the vegetation type and amount. My lake is very condusive to the wacky rigged senko. That double ended wiggle and the straight down fall, as opposed to the slider fall of a T-rig have just been plain deadly for me. Plus....if the name fits..... (rw-sry about that post mess up. All fixed)

Now THAT can't taste good! lol Not a big fan of the "o" ring. It's a great idea for those extra salty, soft baits buty really not needed the way I fish. Plus, it turns the hook sideways on the bait. I like the "exposed tip" of the hook sticking out. (personal opinion)

best size tm battery for canoe/jon boat
I had that Optima for one day,.,..got me to the other side of the lake and started dying. Barely made it back and drove straight back to sears and returned it for the ones I've known and trusted for the last few years. I've been using the sears diehard deep cycle batt's . Largest reserve I could find 220 mins!! Just thinking that heavier may be better in your case as it will also be a ballast for the bow. You can duct tape it in place if it slides around, hehehehe Couldn't resist! Eliminating the paddle is going to increase your time on water and range. Can't wait till you're back,it's going to be a whole new world for you.

Are you talking about T-rigging? It's "wacky" rigged when they come off. I cast hard,..long cast gets the bass in our clear water. I do send a couple off into the wild blue yonder but I've usually gotten a few fish on it first. Do the GYCB's come off when T-rigged?? With wacky, the hook is in a much better position to tear a bait.

In a PM from RW- This is going to be fun. The only downside is always sticking with the same profile. I have already agreed to use these lures exclusively, but you know sometimes a Fat Ika, tube or Kreature is a better choice. Anyhow, I'm focused to prove you right! I'll send Brent a thank you note when I receive the baits. I think it would be best represented if you fish it when and how you would fish a Gary senko. Keep it as real as possible,..if you would normally switch to a fat ika in a given situation, by all means do so because that keeps it equal. Otherwise you will be fishing the knock off more often than you would have been fishing a gycb senko, thusly tipping the scales. You dig? oh yea,...bring the camera!! (and check the battery, lol!) CATCH "EM UP!!

Yea,..there's a fact, lol. Well guys, the baits are in the mail. This experiment has been sponsored by ***. Nothing like putting your money where your mouth is. RW-I believe he sent Pumpkinseed (light colored, very nice), watermelon seed and watermelon/purple swirl. These are the colors I have been using in very clear, reservoir water. Please fish themexactly as you would if it were a GYCB on the hook, and that includes the hook. I personally fish them wacky with a 3/0 circle or octopus 100% of the time but I have a weed friendly lake. Hydrilla on the bottom with floating pods. Very rarely gets weeds. That would be 3 lbs over our state record,...Probably not gonna happen even if what I'm throwing is a net! How cool is that?!? You're not going to get a fairer, more non biased opinion on this one folks. That's just toooo funny. The last 2 days have been 98 degrees with not a cloud in the sky. No wind. I have been out both days in the heat of the day and have been WHACKING them deadsticking these and the creature tubes filled with Yamamoto paste (megastrike) in the deep grass. No monsters yesterday but constant fish between 2.5 and 4 lbs. A great avg here when you're talking about numbers. I made some video yesterday and wanted to get enough footage to finish it today. LONG STORY with short video here

See what I'm sayin folks? All good stuff here!! RW-I'm on it. Need address again. Go here and pick a couple colors that make you tingle.

Senko production ends?
Would be irrelevant for me anyway since I've found a much more cost effective knock off with equal to or better catch ratios. But by all means,...Gary ain't quite rich enough yet,...keep filling his pockets y'all!!

Everyone reading-FYI- Rw and I are great friends on different sides of a debate. We rib each other constantly on the subject but have full respect in order on both sides at all times, please don't confuse our poking as punching. I will say this though,...If RW and I were ever on the same team in a debate, the other side wouldn't stand a chance! -------------------------------------------------------------------- RW- No that's just not fair, we don't have 10 lb bass up here. If I did break down your formula to apply to RI however, then you just solidified my point for me. I catch the largest class fish we have here, consistently, with the baits I use. Sure the Yamamoto bait would most likely do the same but that's my point. Why spend $.70/worm to catch the same fish that is attracted to a $.10 worm? Money grow on trees down in Tennessee? We have been knocking on the state records door lately and with our lake returning to it's former prime (Sizes are rising again, each yr.) (7's and 8's were around a few yrs back before draining for dam repair) Are you suggesting that there is a whole nuther size class in our lake that we won't find unless we are throwing GYCB's??? Now, I'm at least being fair, I threw GYCB's for a few years. How long did you throw a knock-off before you judged it inferior and which one? The ones I use are the exact same as a yum dinger. If all you throw is one thing,...don't be surprised if that's what your fish are caught on. Kinda common sense. If I send you a 10-pack,...will you give them an honest try?

I you could ask Bill Dance 1 question....
Would have been funnier if it wasn't a rubber snake though. 1/2 is bloopers are set-up. Like his fishing. Not knockin',..lots of respect for the guy,..but c'mon.

I you could ask Bill Dance 1 question....
I'd ask how to fish a blue moon,...seeing you put up a post means there must be one out there!! In all seriousness though, I'd ask him what he's smokin' ! nobody is THAT clumsy!! And then for real,..I wouldn't ask him anything, I would just want to shake his hand and thank him for all he's done for the sport. So,...I guess,...Could I shake your hand?

Help! Spotted flesh
"Black spot"or "tang disease" is on the outside though. It is a black version of ich. These spots are in the flesh as opposed to on the exterior and fins. I've seen this in false albacore but never in freshwater but that may have somthing to do with the fact that I've never kept a fish to eat but even if I did,it wouldn't be a smallie. Have you seen it in any of the muskie , Pike, Etc?

whats tougher
That was a joke, Eric had previously been telling me about the dream he had the night before where he was being attacked by a dinosaur but it was one of the huge vegetarian types, not a meat eater. We analyzed that all morning, lol Funny the stuff you talk about when you float in a 12 ft boat for 8 hrs at a time.

yet another jon boat question?
I used to use a 14 modified-v jon with a 6 merc in NARRAGANSETT BAY!!! This was the beginningof our name which was originaklly "lowe" Budget Hookers. Hehe. Many thought we were insane and at times we were but,.....an 8 on a 14 is fine. You won't be calling out the Gambler's and the Tritons but you'll get to your hole for sure.
