Wanting To Get Into Pouring Soft Plastics... I Think
I would recommend getting a silicone mold from Lurecraft or off of Ebay. If you go with the P.O.P, which is very easy to do, make sure you take your finished mold and put a couple of coats of watered down Elmers wood glue on it. This will give it a smooth finish and make it easier to get your molds out. I just used small tupperware containers to pour the POP into. Get yourself some Sculpey modeling clay and create your own designs. This can be very addicting so watch out!

Lake Washington
This is a pretty broad question since it really depends on time of year. Look at all of the major points around the lake like Coleman, Pleasure and Groat. The I-90 bridge is always a popular community spot as well.

Carolina Rig Weights
The mojo style work best for me. I am actually going to get a custom mold made for these. They are not cheap!

What Is The Best Scent In The Market?

Roseburg Oregon July 10th-16th
Tenmile for sure. Love that lake! You can't go wrong with the Umpqua either. I haven't fished it but I hear it can be amazing!

Scents

Best Smallie Deep Crank?
A Hotlips is an old stand by up here in Washington for the smallmouth. Crystal Craw pattern works very well.

Potholes Open On Potholes Res. (Wash. State)...whos Going?
Larry, I will be there with the wife. We managed to take 8th place last year on all smallies. Can't wait for this one! Funnest tournament of the year for me.

Umbrella Rig Smallmouth
If any of your states our like mine (Washington) you can use 3 lures. It is legal to use a dummy bait or just replace two of the swimbaits with spinnerbait blades. I just bought a couple to play around with but haven't had a chance to throw them yet.

Handmade Injector
That looks like it freaking hurts!!!!!! Sorry to see that. I've been there so I know your pain. To me, it is very much worth the investment of getting good injectors from one of the guys like Bears, Basstackle or Del. I think Lurecraft even sells them now. Well worth the money.

Handmade Injector
Be very careful that the material you use can handle the heat of the plastic. If not, it won't be pretty.

Yo Zuri Rattlin Vibe

St.croix Baitcaster
No rod will cover all techniques, but a 7' MH rod will probably cover the most. Good for spinnerbait, lighter jigs, c-rigs, senkos etc.

What Is Your Favorite Technique For Smallmouth?
My two favorite ways to catch them are hopping a football jig with a Hula grub, waiting for the tap-tap and getting the rod ripped out of your hands burning a spinnerbait. Nothing can beat that feeling.

Early Season Cranks For Smallies
Can I get some recommendations on early season cranks for smallies? Wanted to try a few new ones this spring so let's hear what you have to say. Thanks.

Bass Scents??
I use Upperhand Scents. The Hawg Sauce is great. They also have coffee/shad, hawg/anise, and hawg/garlic that all work great. These are some of the most potent scents on the market. I cook these into plastic when I pour my own and also marinate other plastics by just putting a few drops in the original bag. I don't hit the water with out it, that's for sure.

Florocarbon
Cool. I didn't see that one. Might have to try it.

Florocarbon
It says on their website that they do not manufacture for any other companies. I have also heard they make Bass Pro's XPS line but from what I have been able to find out, it simply is not true.
