  1. I own two and can't find anything I don't like about them! Go for it, you can't go wrong.
  2. Looks nice, wonder when we'll see them in the states?
  3. Whoops, I scrolled right past and didn't pay attention to the bottom of the pic. Thank you sir
  4. I really like them especially on the kayak as they stuff under the seat and are waterproof. I have a few of the small bags. They are hard to find around here, and especially when SW had them on sale for $7.99 several months back and I bought all they had. I see them on backorder online too quite often. @A-Jay and @punch What are you marking them with and how is it holding up? Thanks
  5. They just work, and work d**n well. I'm a fan for life.
  6. Check out Harbor Freight, they have knock-off Pelican cases for great prices! Several different sizes available.
  7. My Ned rig setup is a Sierra 702S paired with a Stradic Ci4+ 2500.
  8. I think you'll be satisfied with your K, unless you just want to buy another reel.......... My dedicated jig rod, 854c is paired with a Curado K and works great.
  9. Oh man, wonder how long that code will work?
  10. For Texas rigged weightless or wacky rigged I use only Senkos. Maybe it's just a confidence thing but I catch more on a true GY Senko. For weighted texas rigging I use lots of different brands.
  11. Nice, I really want to try these for river smallies. I'll try to pick some up locally as TW is backordered until end of May for 1/8
  12. What lb test and how are you liking it?
  13. Bump it up to the Mojo Bass over the X IMO.
  14. Think I'm going to pick up a Garmin Striker Plus 4 for my new kayak. Seems like a great deal and a quality, easy to use finder.
  15. I assume grip the fish with gripper and use scale hook thru gripper lanyard?
  16. Same here, growing up learning to fish on a spinning reel I always just started reeling but now I always close it by hand when I fish a spinning reel.
  17. What mono do you primarily use on your spinning reels?
  18. When are we fishing Cedar Creek together? lol
  19. I've heard more positive things about the 894
  20. I'm not holding my breath after their classic sale sucked and no tax stimulus sale............
  21. Try the tension knob as others have said and let us know.
  22. So would you recommend 6 pound to put on my spinning outfits? Ci4+ 2500 used for wacky rig/weightless Senkos and another I use for Ned rig.
  23. For me, weightless Senko hands down.
  24. So I just wanted to update this thread, finally got to get out Sunday and got to use the new Avid X 68MXF for the first time. All the recommendations were spot-on. What a great Senko rod, lightweight but still stout enough to get them back to the yak and out of the weeds. I had it paired with a Stradic 2500 Ci4+ and it got the job done. Here are some pics, they were annihilating both a wacky and weightless texas rig Senko, which is all I'll be using this combo for.
